source of income for them to take good care of their family member who has

disabilities. That’s why we have come up to this project to help the PWD’s and their

families economically. With the help of the DSWD, in partnership with the

Department of Agriculture, we may be able to achieve this project’s objectives by

giving seminars on how to grow crops such as eggplants and tomatoes, they may be

able to grow these in their own yard. Eggplants and tomatoes are warm-weather

vegetables and they need high temperatures for it to grow which is suitable in this

country, thus amateur farmers can also easily grow it. Furthermore, they may be

able to use these crops to start their own livelihood where they would get their

source of income and at the same time, it can provide them fresh fruits and

vegetables for their daily food.

III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

a) Objective

The project will provide the Qualified PWD’s the equipment and

training that they would need in eggplant and tomato farming in their

own yard for them to use as their source of food and livelihood.

 Those who do not have a space in their house to plant

on will be provided plant pots.

 The seeds will be coming from the DA Regional Office.
