1. GENERAL
1.1 OUTLINE OF STRUCTURE
Project : ULUBELU GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT PROJECT
Client : PT. PLN (Persero)
Location : ULUBELU, LAMPUNG, SUMATERA
Foundation type : Cross Road Culvert

1.2 DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

This calculation covers the design of internal cross road culvert on Ulubelu Geothermal
Power Plant site area. The culvert is used for piping line that crossed under the road (cross
road culvert).
The calculation consists of two types of culvert design analysis, which are: single type
culvert (culvert C-01 to C-11) and double type culvert (culvert C-12 to C-13).
These culverts are designed to carry lateral load due to soil pressure and all vertical load
above it such as vehicle load, soil cover, surcharge and pipe inside culvert.

1.3 UNIT OF MEASUREMENT

Unit of measurement in design shall be in metric system.

1.4 USED OF COMPUTER SOFTWARE

Used of Computer Software used in design analysis, as follow :
Math Cad and Ms. Excel

Project : ULUBELU GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT PROJECT
Client : PT. PLN (Persero)
Location : ULUBELU, LAMPUNG, SUMATERA
Foundation type : Cross Road Culvert

1.2 DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

This calculation covers the design of internal cross road culvert on Ulubelu Geothermal
Power Plant site area. The culvert is used for piping line that crossed under the road (cross
road culvert). The calculation consists of two types of culvert design analysis, which are:
single type culvert (culvert C-01 to C-11) and double type culvert (culvert C-12 to C-13).
These culverts are designed to carry lateral load due to soil pressure and all vertical load
above it such as vehicle load, soil cover, surcharge and pipe inside culvert.

1.3 UNIT OF MEASUREMENT

Unit of measurement in design shall be in metric system.
