With the available resources, supplies and materials, you should be able to
show the proper storage techniques of fruits and vegetables in your home
following the procedure:

Time to complete task: 1 week

Supplies and Materials:


 Realia (different fruits and vegetables available in your home)
 Packaging materials

Procedure:
1. Wash and clean all fruits and vegetables before storing in
designated packing materials.
2. Clean and sanitize the packaging materials and area to prevent
cross contamination.
3. Use the proper storage container/packaging materials to have
moisture retention and reduction of disease transmission.
4. Handle all fruits and vegetables with care while storing.
5. Monitor the temperatures. Fruits and vegetables that require cold
should be in moist conditions while fruits and vegetables that
require warm should be in dry condition.
6. Take a picture of the before and after storage of the different fruits
and vegetables at home.
7. Make sure there is a 3-day gap before checking the stored fruits
and vegetables.
8. Make an e-portfolio of the before and after and include your
observation for each fruits and vegetables stored.
9. Submit the files to your leader then class President will compile.
