JAPANESE COURSE

A. Please tell us the days an times you can come as well as topics…

I have to say I'm a busy person so I only can come to class in the afternoons. I'm used to
reading about history so it's my favorite topic.

B. Why are you studying Japanese?

I have to say that one of my favorite hobbies is learning languages and I have always liked
the Japanese culture. It's true that now I have a lot of free time because I have just lost my job
and it's the best moment to do it.

or

I can't believe it ! I want to go to work in Japan too. My boyfriend is from Japan and I think
that it is a good idea for me to learn something about the languages before changing the
country.

C. What do you think about the course?

Well, I think it's an interesting course where I'm learning a ot of things not only about the
Japanese language but also about Japanese culture. For me, learning language is easy
although I have to say that Japanese is difficult.

D. How do you feel about the fact that there're 25 people on the course now?

To say the truth, I think the number of people in the course isn't important because the
teacher is very experienced and classmate are all interested in learning, so you don't feel that
the course are crowded.

E. Informal mail. Feelings and suggest.

Hi!

Have you heard about from the Japanese course fee will go up?

I can't believe it, I'm very angry, a 15% is too much money and I couldn't pay it.

Besides I'm going to complain about the new times of the course, since I can't go these days.
Love,

F. Formal mail.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing in relation with the previous email and I want to show you my disagreement
about the increase of 15% of a fee for the course which is going to take effect from next
month.

Besides I totally disagree with the change on lessons since I will not be able to go. I think you
should rethink these changes.

I would like to suggest several alternatives:

1. First of all, I believe that if there is an increase of a fee for the course fees, you should
have some discounts for the old members.

2. As a second alternative, it would be very interesting for members to give away some
free lessons.

I look forward to hearing back from you if my recommendation is acceptable if not, I will
look (for) at other Japanese course.

Thank you for you attention.

Yours faithfully.
