Since I was young, I always wanted to go to Japan because I am a big fan of all the tv series and

anime shows I watched. Recently during the pandemic, I watched a lot of Japanese TV series
and that make me decide to study Japanese little by little, right now my knowledge of Japanese
is not that much yet and I want to study more and be fluent in Japanese and this can only be
possible if I will study in Japan because I believe I can learn more and make good progress if I go
to Japan to study.

Japan is loved by Filipinos because we love Japan’s rich culture and history, very nice and
honest Japanese people, delectable Japanese foods and the amazing Japan’s technology. Aside
from learning Japanese language, I also want to know more and experience personally all of
these. I know that I can only do this by studying the Japanese language in Japan. I know that
this will not be easy, but I will not give up until I achieve my goal so that I can be a bridge to
other young Filipinos and inspire them to study Japanese.

When I started to study Japanese (Beginner) level last November, it was very hard for me at
first, because it is a different alphabets compared to English and Filipino language but the more
I challenge myself to learn Japanese vocabulary and grammar the more I get more interested to
learn Japanese language. I am proud to say now that I already memorized Hiragana and Katana
because I can now read and write using it. I am now starting to learn more vocabulary and
Kanji.

Right now, I set my goal to focus on studying Japanese for 2 years until I pass the highest level
of Japanese (JLPT N1). This will be my priority for the next two years and to do this, studying at
Sapporo Language Center is the best way for me to be able to achieve my goal. I am already
studying Japanese here in the Philippines in the Hikari Language Center and my goal is to finish
it until the Japanese N4 level, so that once my admission to Sapporo Language gets approved, I
will be able to catch up and will be able to understand my Japanese teacher in the class and of
course, this will also to help me and make my life easier in my daily routine in Japan.

I am currently working with Zoom Video Communication (One of the largest video meeting
platform in the world) and our company also offers Japanese Bilingual Jobs that support our
company’s business in Japan. This is also one of the reasons why I want to learn Japanese
language. This is an opportunity for me to up-skill myself and explore other jobs that supports
Japanese. Once I graduated from Sapporo Language Center and passed N1, I will apply directly
to my company's branch in Japan as one of their Japanese support. Also, I want to share that
my husband's goal is also to study Japanese in Sapporo Language Center. This is another reason
why I want to push studying in the same school so that we can live together and achieve our
goal together.

I studied a Bachelor of Arts Major in English here in the Philippines and I have been working in
BPO Industry (Business Process Outsourcing) for 10 years supporting America, EMEA, and APAC.
Once I become fluent in Japanese, I want to contribute to Japan’s economic growth in the
future with my educational background and professional working experience.

I will support my studies and finances in Japan on my own through my savings and my
husband's support. I am hoping that you can help me achieve my goal.
