CHAPTER THREE: RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY

3.1 Chapter Overview /Introduction

This chapter discusses methods used in undertaking this study from the collection of data to
methods applied to analyze the collected data. Research design, sample and sampling technique,

instrument of data collection, data collection procedure and finally data analysis technique is

discussed in this chapter.

3.2 Research approach

The research approach is deductive because it is not developing theories rather theory testing.

The study is conducted as a quantitative research; a research that focuses primarily on the

construction of the quantitative data.
