Zoom Meeting/Webinar: Participant Guide

You will need:


Laptop /Smart phone with internet connection

How to join to the meeting:

Once you receive a Zoom invitation, it's easy to join a meeting by clicking the invitation link or entering
the Meeting ID — both of which you can do on the Zoom website, desktop app, or mobile app

It’s advisable to download Zoom App. This can be done through https://zoom.us/ “ Download zoom
client” once it is downloaded, open the Zoom installer from your Downloads folder and follow the on-
screen steps to set up your Zoom Client. (See figure 01&02)

You can use PlayStore to download Zoom App for mobile phones

Or you can simply copy paste URL (Link) on the web to join the meeting

Best Practices while in a Zoom Meeting/webinar

• Sign in to the Zoom desktop client and stay signed in.


• Stay muted unless you're talking to reduce background noise.
• You may need to keep your camera off to improve quality depending on your internet
connection
• Raise hand, use Q/A or use chat if you have questions
• Do not share any files unless Host ask to do so.
