This document provides instructions for setting up a MyGovUC email account in Microsoft Outlook in 3 steps:
1. Search for "Mail" in the Start Menu and click "Add..." then create a new profile called "mygovuc 2.0".
2. Choose manual setup or additional server type and click next, then choose POP or IMAP and fill in account details including username, password, and server addresses.
3. Go to more settings, require secure authentication, and configure the advanced tab to use SSL for incoming server and TLS for outgoing server on port 587.

Email Address : yourname@dvs.gov.my Account Type : select IMAP Incoming mail server : icewarp7.mygovuc.gov.my Outgoing mail server (SMTP) : icewarp7.mygovuc.gov.my Logon Information User Name : yourname@dvs.gov.my Password : “your email password” 11. Click More Settings…
12. Choose Outgoing tab and
- “thick” on My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires Authentication - choose Log on using - “thick” on Require Secure Password Authentication (SPA) 13. Fill user name and password using your name and email password
14. Choose on Advanced tab
Change incoming server to SSL
Change outgoing server to TLS Type Outgoing server (SMTP) to 587
15. Click OK 16.
17. Click Next
18. Then the process will begin to synchronize with server
19. Contact ICT Admin for more information or this message appear during setup
