The Assembly meeting exactly starts at 3:00 P.M., invocation was led by BHW Arlyn R. Maycon. Thus,
singing of Pambansang Awit was preceded. Punong Barangay Elvira F. Martinez acknowledged the
presence of Barangay Council, BHW, CVO, residents, guests from different offices of the Municipality
and the Guest of Honor & Speaker Hon. District Councilor Raem V. Aquino.
The Bautista MLGOO Merlyn O. De Sesto takes over the floor and discussed why we need to conduct
Semestral Barangay Assembly. And she also thoroughly discuss every BBI’s functions in the Barangay.
DILG Bautista Staff Rowell F. Martinez reads the message of the DILG Secretary Eduardo Año to the
barangay prior to the Barangay Assembly.
Ms. Annie Pedrozo, one of the contact tracers, also discussed proper contact tracing procedures to
BHERT. She also reminds to follow all the minimum health protocols set by the higher authorities. She
insisted that the spread of the deadly virus can only be stop if the Barangay or community will participate
to follow every health protocols.
Ms. Liza Villanueva from the office of the MPDC discussed the following:
- Issuance of National Identification Card
- Full Disclosure Policy Board
The Municipal Health Officer Doc. Alfredo Laguardia discussed the following:
- Covid-19 Symptoms
- Minimum Health Protocols
- No Case of Covid-19 as of this date
- Isolation facilities in Barnagay Diaz and Poponto
- Isolation facility of the tested positive in Covid-19 is in Barangay Vacante
- No Pfizer vaccines because the PH government did not met the proper storage standards of the
vaccine
- All persons should be vaccinated
- No foreign country travel if you’re not vaccinated
Guest of Honor & Speaker District Councilor, Hon. Raem Aquino give his message, And he focuses on
the Assembly Theme. He also discussed the Impact of the pandemic in our daily lives and He reminded
us to don’t forget to obey the health protocols for the safety of the community.
After the discussions of every Guests The Punong Barangay with the Barangay Treasurer and the
Committee Chair on Appropriations presented the expenditures of the Barangay for 2021. They
thoroughly discussed every programs, projects and activities of the barangay that had been implemented
and for implementation.
After the presentation and discussion of the Barangay Expenditures, the Punong Barangay reported the
accomplishment of the 20% Development Fund of the current year. She said that the project that are not
implemented yet are purchase of rescue vehicle and the improvement of the Material recovery facility.
The rescue vehicle will be purchased the next year due to the pandemic and the improvement of MRF
will be accomplished by December 2020. P.B. also reported the following programs and projects:
Maintenance of Multi-Purpose Brgy. Hall (Fabrication of Full Disclosure Policy Board and
Painting of Health Center)
Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Streetlights
Maintenance of Day Care Center (Kids Modules Photocopies)
Clean & Green Program (Monthly Clearing)
Barangay Kagawad Susan L. Olalia (Chair on Health & Sanitation) takes over the floor and discussed the
accomplished projects and activities under her Committee.
Barangay Kagawad Anita P. Eva (Chair on Committee on Women & Family) gladly reported that there is
no case yet of VAWC in the Barangay. And at the same time as a President of the Senior Citizens
Association she reported that their budget for this year will be re-aligned to purchase of relief goods
(grocery items) to be distributed equally to every senior citizen in the Barangay.
Barangay Kagawad Palermo E. Dizon, Jr. (Chair on Committee on Peace & Order). Reported that the
Barangay is still Drug Free and only petty crimes like public disturbances happening inside the Barangay.
OPEN FORUM
Before the assembly ends the guest from PNP Bautista invited to speak in front and they only said that
follow the health protocols of the Government and strictly implement curfew hours, the PNP is always
there if there are violators who are needed to be disciplined. They also gave thanks to the Barangay
frontliners for their service.
