SUMMARY REPORT
I. OBJECTIVES OF
THE ACTIVITY By the end of the activity, the participants shall be able to:
1. To deliver the State of Barangay Address;
2. To inform the constituents of the financial status,
accomplishments, on-going and plans Program, Projects, and
Activities of the Barangay and the Sangguniang Kabataan;
3. To render/present committee, and reports; and
4. Discuss other matters.

II. HIGHLIGHTS A. PRELIMINARIES

 The Activity commenced at 10:00 AM, started with a prayer led by

Hon. Meldrid B. Talandron followed by the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem led by Hon. Bergelita G. Ebo or thru an AVP

 The Master of Ceremony, Brgy. Sec. Ms. Daisy Mae D. Libre,

acknowledged the local officials present.

B. PRESENTATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 The SOBA was rendered by PB. ELMER P. PARAN.

 The Punong Barangay asked the Secretary to Call the Roll of
Attendance of the Barangay Council and the General Assembly.
 The Secretary reported that all members of the Sangguniang
Barangay were present, other guest from city of naga and
members of the Barangay Assembly coming from various puroks
were also present and were acknowledged.
 The Punong Barangay delivered his opening remarks stressing the
importance of having this Barangay Assembly. He also thanked
everyone present for spending their time in listening tovarious
issues heard and tackled in the Barangay Assembly. After which,
the Secretary read the message of the Secretary of Interior
and Local Government Eduardo M. Ano to the barangay assembly.
 Punong Barangay Elmer P. Paran delivered his State of the
Barangay Address. He stressed out his major accomplishment for
the FY 2023 such as Improvement of Barangay Hall Phase 1& 2,
Improvement of Covered Court Phase 1 & 2 and also the ongoing
projects which is Construction of open court of Purok comon,
Improvement of Open Court at Purok Kabangkalan and
Improvement of Open Court at Purok Sta. Cruz. He also inform the
residents that the barangay has VAWC Office located at 2 nd floor of
the barangay hall and also introduce Mrs. Roselyn S. Yangan as
GAD Personnel or a person that can assist all VAW or VAC victim in
the barangay and also with the guidance of Hon. Meldrid B.
Talandron Committee Chair on Women & Family He. also informed
the assembly that the Council is doing its best to finally get the
certification for a Drug-Free Barangay. He also informed the council
that the barangay has now an updated sex and age disaggregated
data through the continuous support of the Barangay Health
Workers. The Barangay Tanods also were sent for a training to
capacitate them with necessary skills. He also boasted that for the
first time and finally the barangay enrolled in the Philippine
Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) where the
previous administration did not look into consideration the
necessity of such enrollment. He also encouraged everyone to
participate and actively join in all barangay activities.
 He also talked about the road clearing operations done to avoid
road obstructions and also warned residents about his strict
 adherence to anti-road obstructions policy of PRRD. He bragged
about the functional Public Address System of the Barangay and
newly purchased DRRM equipment of the barangay.
 Hon. Bergelita G. Ebo reported about the Solid Waste
Management Program of the municipality and encouraged all
residents to segregate at source to lessen the problem on solid
waste.She informed the assembly that the municipal government is
serious on its campaign oneliminating or minimizing solid waste
and also talked about the accomplishment of the barangay council
on matterspertaining to solid waste management. That according
to her, the barangay has amended its Ordinance on Ecological Solid
Waste Management and whoever will be caught throwing garbage
on streets and creeks will be punished accordingly. She proposed
to the Council not to issue Barangay Clearance and Certifications to
violators and also monitored the operations of the Barangay Health
Workers o fthe barangay.
 Hon. Florentino H. Onto Jr reported about that the Barangay
Tanods are mandated to roam around the vicinity of the barangay
at night. He also warned those teenagers who are drinking along
the streets and in public places to refrain from doing so for their
safety and advised all purok president to be more vigilant to those
people currently residing on their area to avoid the spread of illegal
drugs in the barangay.
 Hon. Meldrid B. Talandron reported that there are 3 VAWC related
cases has been filed in the barangay todate. Committee chair
together with the GAD Personnel Mrs, Roselyn Yangan are always
there to help and guide those victims
 Hon. Ricardo L. Alcansado encouraged the community residents to
help him in his committee .He stress out the importance of Back
yard Gardening. He even said that he is willing to assist and give
vegetable seeds through the City Agricultures Office to those
individual who will plant vegetables since the barangay has no
vacant lot for planting.
 Hon. Diosdado D. Chan Jr through his Education Committee
announces that there is an increasing number of day care students,
a sign that early childhood education is becoming a necessity now.
 Hon. Eduardo C. Sismar Chairman on Committee on Infrastructure
reported for his plans regarding infrastructure projects. To
continue maintaining the roads especially the rough roads and will
find resources for its concreting. He then mention the status of the
water system project and requested the affected land owner would
cooperate in the compliance of its necessary documents for the
realization of the said project he also added that the barangay
allocated budget for purchase of polyethylene hose and will be
distributed to the residents in need.
 Barangay Treasurer, Mrs. Gertrudes G. Segismar presented before
the Barangay Assembly members the compliance of the barangays
on BDFP where 9 out of 9 documents were posted in the BFDP
Board.
● Hon. Geramie G. Bolo as newly appointed Sk chairperson in this
barangay announces that shes doing her best to do what the SK
 Chairman has not done before, first by doing the Opening of
Bank Account together with her Sk Treasurer so that the Sk
Budget can be used for the projects or purchase of equipments
to be used for the students and residents of this barangay and to
gave full support to the upcoming SK Cup 2023.
● PSB.Ybanez/PAT Borgonio as PSB in this barangay were doing
our very best to secure the safety of all the residents specially
our Kabatan-onan sa barangay sa pag likay sa ginadiling druga
(ILLEGAL DRUGS) instead of taking illegal drugs why not focus on
playing basket ball? In connection to this the very first project of
our new cop in this city is to encourage all residents to
participate the BOLA KONTRA DROGA for KKDAT and also
PROJECT KSB( KAPULISAN SA BARANGAY) main goal of this
project is to put 1 pnp personnel to support Barangay Tanods in
each barangay during their roaming around every night.
