7 Prime Numbers Numbers which can be divided exactly {2, 3, 17,31}
only by itself and 1.
8 Composite Numbers A number which has other factors other {4, 12, 21, 27}
than itself and 1.
9 Odd Numbers The set of natural numbers that cannot {1, 7, 25, 29}
be exactly divided by 2.
10 Even Numbers The set of natural numbers that can be {2, 8, 26, 30}
exactly divided by 2.
The number line displays the infinite value of both positive and negative numbers (Integers). The
left of the number line represents the least value, while the right represents the highest value.
The number line also helps when adding and subtracting directed numbers.
NB:
1 is not a prime number;
2 is the only even prime number
