Speech about Patriotism in Pandemic

Honorable judges respect the audience and everyone here today. Assalamualaikum wr.wb

First of all i'd like to thank the almighty God it ia because of him, we are all able to enter this
contest in good health even in this Pandemic covid 19.

Secondly masalawad and salam always be delivered to our Prophet Muhammad SAW and last
but no least i'd like to thank the judges for giving me this very Special opportunity to complete
in this contest.

Ladies and Gentleman Good morning my name is M. Ilham praditya and i'm from Senior High
School 1 Belinyu. Standing here before you all to deliver my speech.

This time, i bring a topic which is very relavant to our current Situation. Yes it is "Patriotism in
The covid 19 Pandemic". Now these are very difficult Times for all of us, not just me and you
but for everyone.

We already know that the world id experiencing a crisis in terms of a health crisis, a financial
crisis, and even an education crisis. This was caused by covid 19 which hit the world at the end
of 2019. We all know that Indonesia is implenting many policies to reduce the spread of the
virus.

This certainly has an impact on people who have to work from home and studying at home. At
this time the impotance of our sense of patriotism is needed. Maybe many people do not realize
that we inderictly show whether we have a sense of patriotism? How deep do we feel
patriotism?

Okey before i move on to the main topic in this speech, we muat know what patriotism is ?

According to KBBI patriotism is the attitude of someone who is willing to sacrifice everything
for the glory and prosperity of his country. Recently, the spirit of patriotism and love for the
country that we can witness is the dedication of the medical officers who are the spearheads in
fighting covid 19.

But not only them, we can also show our patriotism such as always keeping our distence,
always wearing mask, staying at home and many more. To be honest it ia a small thing that
shows that we have a sense of patriotism. We do that little thing so that we can reduce the
spread of covid 19 for the sake of this country for the sake of the people in this country.

That's why, i hope this speech can make us all aware of how important a sense of patriotism is
today. How small things really have an impact on this country.
Finally ladies and gent that's all for my speech, i hope we've all learned something new from it
