1. Cut out three (3) photographs from a magazine, calendar, poster, or brochure –
each expressing one of the following:
2. Label each of your photographs with a creative title, expressing the particular
purpose you think it has.

In this picture, the element tone, space, and colours were highlighted, giving off a
breathtaking view. The tone and colour enhance its atmosphere, making the people
find the picture pleasant and has spectacular ambiance. Also, the use of space and
angle create emphasis to the car that makes it noticeable in the viewer’s eyes. As
we stare to the picture, we can observe that it has almost soft texture and a little bit
rough texture in both sides, creating a fantastic balance to the picture. The angle of
the shot also helps to make sure that the car would not be outshine by the
background.
Black Bird
This picture has a wonderful shot that creates movement. Also the vibes of
monochrome syndrome has enhances the picture, which helps to express its
emotions. I titled it “Black Bird” because when we stare at the picture, we can feel
that the girl wanted to embrace the freedom. If we immerse ourselves in the picture,
it has a gloomy and dramatic vibes, and the tone element has been emphasized.
Also, her shadow tells us that she is a black bird that have been caught and put in a
cage. The cage is represented by the grills in the right side, and her shadow
overlaps to it. As she wanted to fly again, she tried to flaps her wings, even though
her wings (the shadow of her hair) are not yet read. As her hands pointing up, we
can tell that she is dreaming for the higher ground. She is a lost bird who wanted to
be free, aiming for a tree but end up in despair.
