b. Motivation Assign groups from the class to portray their ideas whenever they hear the word “Hunting”, the class will be divided into 4 and each group will perform
a short simulation on how they think hunting is practiced

HUNT GAME!
The teacher will write the target words and their meanings on a slip of paper, the papers will be distributed and the students should be able to find the
meaning of a synonym of the word they are holding. After everyone has found their partners, each pair will present their words to the class.
II. FIRM UP
a. LET ME INTRODUCE THEM TO YOU!
The teacher will present pictures of prominent characters of the story “The death of Siegfried ”, in a box were descriptions of each character, by
examining the pictures, the students will match the characters with the pictures posted on the board.
b. The students will silently read the story “ The Death of Seigfried” on page 123
c. Closely reading the selection, the students will answer the sidebar questions .
