The teacher will give French words and the students (in groups) will have a short skit with the script including the French words introduced
by the teacher, the skit will be limited with 15 minutes preparation and 5 minute performance

b. From their assignment last meeting, (research about Charlemagne) the students will share their output to the class- Moreover, they will scan
the QR code from their books to access on the video related to the topic .

c. The students will read the selection” The song of Roland: a Summary” &the excerpt of “The death of Roland”, as the students read, they
will answer the sidebar questions.

d. After they have read the story, the will work in groups and do Exercise 3 wherein they will scan the given QR code linking to a three
minute summary of what they have read, afterwards, they will evaluate the faithfulness to the written text and will note discrepancies

III. DEEPEN The students will answer Values: Life Connection on page 147

IV. TRANSFER The students will do Exercise 4 & 5 on page 148-149
