1. In the first analysis, there is possessive relational process. It is showed by the word ‘have’.
This clause is also included into attributive because it shows an increased trait of entity.
The word ‘I’ (carrier) is described having numerous vital minutes (attribute). So, in
possessive-attributive process, carrier has a role as a thing which having certain things
(attributive). The circumstantial accomplishment, ‘with my friends’, explains the subject
have time with who else, and the word ‘at school’ shows that the subject has time with his
friends in where, so that it is called circumstance of location.
2. In the second analysis, the finite of this clause ‘were’ shows intensive relational process.
The subject ‘My friends’ and ‘they’ (carrier) are described as thoughtful and keen
(attribute). The word ‘to me’ as the circumstance of accompaniment because it tells that
the subject is thoughtful to who else.
3. In the last analysis, the subject ‘I’ as participant is showing the doing activity. So, it is
called actor. The predicator ‘joined’ indicates material process because the verb shows the
actor (I) doing an action or activity. The word ‘some extracurricular exercises’ is the goal
because it undergoes the process of ‘joined’. The adjunct ‘at school’ explains the place
which the subject ‘I’ joined the extracurricular exercises, so it is called as circumstances of
location.
