OVERALL GOAL

• By June 2022, Washington


Elementary will meet or exceed
growth as reported by EVAAS and
meet or exceed Wake County’s
average proficiency on the EOGs.
• Focus on lowest performing
groups

CONCERNS
• Loose attendance guidelines
• 10% to 25% non- engagement rate
increase
• Highest non- participation in our
3-5 tested grades.
• Increase in missing tier, IEP, and
instructional support
• Students falling through the cracks

PROBLEM OF PRACTICE
Washington Elementary will increase and maintain student
learning of low performing subgroups by effectively supporting
students, families, and teachers in the remote/blended learning
environment to increase student attendance, participation, and
engagement.
