 What is the importance of knowing the Deped
organization structure and school processes in the
performance of your duties as a teacher?

- The importance of knowing the Deped

organization structure and school processes in
the performance of my duties as a teacher is for
me to understand how the roles, power and
responsibilities are assigned, controlled, and
coordinated, and how information flows between
the different levels of management. Knowing
Deped organization structure and school
processes improves my efficiency as it provides a
clear guidance to me by laying out the official reporting
relationships that govern the workflow of the
Department.

 Why should a teacher know who to approach in

addressing concern related to his or her duties?

A teacher should know who to approach in

addressing concern related to his or her duties
because it’s the only way he/she could fix the
problems being encountered in the teaching
process. Through it, a teacher can learn a lot to
develop his/her qualities to become a productive
and effective teacher

 As a newly hired teacher, I am already manifesting the
following qualities like

 dedication to teaching or passion for the work as I

am willing to help and give time to my students as
well as to the parents
 patient, caring and kind personality which
determines my compassion towards my learners’
differences
 being adaptable to the constantly evolving
environment of work as I adjust my teaching
methods based on the differences of my learners,
the resources available and changing curriculum

 However, I need to improve my qualities being

observant, attentive, empathetic and
understanding since every learner learns
differently as they have different upbringings and
backgrounds. As a newly hired teacher I should
also embrace the challenge of teaching and
become open-minded when receiving feedback
about how I can become better and effective
teacher.
