 1. When I was 16 years old, I went to the United States. I was a student then, and that was
the first time I left home. I went to Boston to live with an American Family for two
months only. How exciting! - I thought. How scared I felt, But I went all the same. One
of the things I remember quite clearly was my arrival: to start with. I missed the train
from New York to Boston! That was trouble, although the family was there to greet me. 2
When I arrived at the family house, I lost my voice, so nervous I felt. For three days, I did
not say a word. Now I know that was an unconscious way to get familiar with the English
they spoke. Fortunately, after one week, I felt more confident, I started to speak a little,
and the people in the house began to understand me. How nice and enjoyable the second
week was! The big morning breakfast, a snack at lunchtime, and early dinner at 6:00 pm
became a routine. The shops were interesting, the vanilla ice-cream was wonderful, the
sports were attractive, and new friends were like the old ones in a short time. This
experience was unforgettable!

2. Good Experience: My best vacations

My best vacations were in Santa Marta, I was with my family and we visited the beach, in the
beach we swam and laughed.
Moreover, In Santa Marta my father cooked because he is a chef, he prepared the breakfast in the
beach and we ate a delicious ceviche.
The sea was very big and my mother didn’t know how to swim therefore mi father bought a float
while my mother was very scared and eventually my mother floated in the water.
In the afternoon we built a sandcastle and we raced, my brother won because he created a big
castle with seashells, it was the best castle, he made it very well.
Finally, I felt very happy because my family was united and I felt beloved.

Bad experience: Accident

Many years ago, I had an accident in my school, I was playing with my friends around a chair,
we were jumping and, in a moment, I jumped bad and fell against the edge of the chair. They
called the nurse and the nurse got me up and saw that my ear had plenty of blood, However She
called my dad and we went to the hospital. therefore, in the hospital they sewed my ear.
Finally, I went home and rested in my bed in that moment I felt very sick and very sad because
my ear hurt a lot
