MIDTERM PROJECT: DEVELOPMENTAL ISSUE/CONCERN (50pts)

General Instructions:

1. Brainstorm and work by 3 to 4(maximum) members only. This is a collaborative work

so no single individual will be working alone. Learn to work with many brains deciding,
it will be challenging. Again, this is a collaborative work. Only one student will submit
their work please, no repetition of submissions to avoid incorrect or repetition of
entries of scores after my scoring/checking. Again, only one student from your
members will submit the work.

2. Indicate your references at the last reading section in the table below. In your
research, use PDF books and other scholarly journals, articles, and reviews available via
online. Do not forget to put your names above for my reference. Sometimes names are
lacking/missing or inconsistent in entries. Please be sure all members’ names are listed
before hitting send button. Do do not change the format, this is single space entry, do
not change the format. 10 point demerit will be apply for groups who will not follow
instructions correctly.

3. Present your output using the provided table below. End your work with an essay that
explains the connection of the developmental theory/perspective to the identified
psychological issue/concern.

A. Identify one specific psychological issue of a particular developmental stage e.g.

teenage pregnancy, giftedness, birth defects/chromosomal abnormalities etc…

Example: Late Childhood or Adolescence on Teenage Pregnancy

B. Find 6 reading materials from any source, books, reviews and articles etc…
which are published from 2015 to date that discusses about the psychological issue
that you have identified. Provide citations properly and indicate all your
 sources/references following the examples below. Put your references at the last part
of your paper.

C. Identify and discuss the significant concepts and facts in the reading materials. You
have to do this per article, 6 ARTICLE/READING MATERIAL and you need to
paraphrase them. (NOTE: No direct copying, once run I it for plagiarism check your
grade is automatically 0.0 for Dev Psy class, the entire semester)

D. Select particular developmental theory/ies/perspective/s to which you can

connect the chosen psychological issue. Explain the connection of the psychological
issue/concern with the developmental theory/perspective (put your explanation in the
essay/discussion box provided below).
