1. ARE YOU HAPPY? (Helping children identify and express emotions)

We´ll introduce the vocabulary about emotions by showing them in the whiteboard.

EMOTIONS:
shy (tímido/a)  bored (aburrido/a)  angry (enfadado/a) anxious (ansioso/a) 

happy (feliz)  tired (cansado/a) surprised (sorprendido/a)  sad (triste) 

confused (confundido/a) sleepy (somnoliento/a)   crazy (loco/a)  nervous (nervioso/a)

curious (curioso/a)  desapointed (decepcionado/a) stubborn (obstinado/a) jealous (celoso/a)

After revising the emotions, we´ll put them into a bag (small peace of paper). We´ll ask students
(one by one) take it one out. 1

Then we´ll ask student: “Mime your word!”

Others have to guess the emotion by asking questions, for example:


Are you happy?
Are you sad?
Are you worried?”

When the answer in correct, the student has to say:


Yes , I´m happy
Yes, I´m sad
Yes, I´m worried

The student who guess the answer earn one point.

2. PARTS OF THE HOUSE (+ some objects)

We´ll revise vocabulary about parts and some objects of the house: Kitchen, Living room,
Bedroom.

• We can use some expressions (teacher and then students):

• I spy something ending with N
• I spy something blue / yellow / green / red.
• I spy something hard (duro) / soft (suave) / big (grande) / small (pequeño
• I spy something you can eat (que se puede comer) / wear (que se puede poner) / use
for cleaning (que se utiliza para la limpieza) / use for drawing (que se utiliza para dibujar)

• I spy something high up (alto) / on the floor (en el suelo) / by the door (al lado de la
puerta), near the window (cerca de la ventana)

• I spy something ending with one / two / three syllables
