LEARNING‌‌ENVIRONMENT‌ ‌ EVIDENCE‌‌FROM‌‌VIDEO‌ ‌

Safe‌‌and‌‌encouraging‌ ‌  ‌The students are learning to kick a soccer ball;

however, they are also building their physical
strength. The teacher created a lesson where
the students run, kick, and use their strength,
but the students are not overexerting or
harming their bodies. After completing the runs
and kicks of the soccer ball, the teacher voices
his encouragements and good jobs.
Collaboration‌‌amongst‌‌peers‌ ‌  ‌There is a female student who is bound to a
wheelchair. It is a struggle to move the chair
around a grassy field, so another student helps
her move and accomplish the physical
education lesson.
Respectful‌‌exchange‌‌of‌‌ideas‌‌from‌‌all‌ ‌  ‌There are not many exchanges of ideas being
students‌ ‌ thrown out in the open. There is, however, a
accommodation a student required to complete
the physical lesson. She requires a wheelchair,
so the teacher modified the lesson for her to
use her chair to kick the ball.

a straight line so the students can kick it. He
asks for the students’ assistance to move and
place the soccer balls.

INSTRUCTION‌ ‌ EVIDENCE‌‌FROM‌‌VIDEO‌ ‌

Logically‌‌sequenced‌‌and‌‌paced‌‌content‌‌to‌ ‌  ‌The teacher does not rush the students to

build‌‌students’‌‌skills‌ ‌ adapt quickly. He carefully explains the
instructions and showcases an example of the
worded instructions. It shows he wants the
students to understand the concept on how to
kick a ball into a fixed position.
Processes‌‌that‌‌offer‌‌authentic‌‌and‌ ‌  ‌The video shows each students’ physical ability
differentiated‌‌experiences‌‌and‌f‌eedback‌ ‌ and their process on understanding the
instructions. There are some students who
understand the lesson. There are other who
require speaking the instructions again and
require feedback on an incorrected position.
Facilitate‌‌inquiry‌‌processes‌‌to‌‌support‌ ‌  The Physical Education lesson introduces
students‌‌problem-solving‌‌and‌t‌hinking‌‌skills‌ ‌ working with other people to achieve the goal. It
also tasks them to focus on a specific objective
and continue until it reaches the goal.
