Assessment Rubric
The MCT and MST will use this form to formally observe the trainee’s performance and to give feedback
based on the selected teaching competencies. NOTE: Refer to the course-specific, teaching
competencies-based rubric included in the TP Booklet.
Jawaher covered the Lesson criteria and Lesson Starters as required. She planned and included
Activities that were suitable and differentiated according to
Student levels collaboratively.
Jawaher managed her students enquiries and questions well. A suggestion was made to explain the
usage of tools really slowly when introducing learners to a new application so as not to overwhelm
them. Demonstration and Repetition is key initially.
Jawaher made sure to assess her students grasping of knowledge of the taught concept
throughout the lesson by asking questions.

Jawaher assessed her learners throughout the lesson calling on names of students who needed
extra support.
Perhaps provide for enrichment a game, song or video on the topic, in the Plenary when students
complete early/Early finisher Activities.
Action Plan:
Re-explanation of new app or tool so as to provide the opportunity for students who struggled, to join
the Activity.
Plenary enhancement.
