Tuesday, January 19 th

Today was the first day of starting my internship. Starting my first day here, I had a
mixing feeling of both excitement and worried. However, after meeting Mr. Ian, it was a good
starting at school. All of our intern students met with Mr. Ian around 7 am and we had
orientation with him. He asked each one us what exactly will be expect to do here throughout the
semester. After discussing for half an hour, he brought us to tour around the campus and greeting
faculties and staffs. It is a warm welcoming and I felt more like being in AIU because many of
AIU’s alumni working here at EIS. After toured around, we remained in the library and assisting
faculty’s children who learning online in the library. In the evening, after to school we met with
homeroom teacher for greeting and introducing. My homeroom teacher is Mrs. Alpha and she
teaches most of the subject such as math, science, social study, Language art and values in grade
2 b. To conclude my first day, it is a very great new start and I feel comfortable the surrounding.

Wednesday, January 20th

Today is another productive day of my internship. I have to be in the classroom by 7 am

sharp. I was getting start with helping teacher and her assistant get ready for zoom meeting.
Actually, the class probably started at 4:45 a.m. Basically, today I have observed math, language
art, Thai, science, art classes. I helped teacher’s assistant with marking student’s homework sent
through Email. I learned how marking done and record the works of students via Email. I found
that it took time and consumed a lot amount of time because some parents sent files really
disorganized. However, I am glad that I got to help teacher and learned a new things. Today was
such a busy day, online class was starting from 7:45 am until 2:00 pm. Two faculty kids present
in the classroom joining others students studying online class. I helped teacher assist them and
watch over them when they doing their homework or study.

Thursday, January 21th

Today, I just tried to in the class at 7 a.m. and helping teacher assistant with marking as
well as helping with taking students attendance for homeroom teacher class. I was trying to
remember each students’ name but a was a bit hard for me because It was online class and I
couldn’t remember their name that much. Somehow, I wasn’t get bored that I have two kids in
the class and assist them with classwork, project and activity.

Friday, January 22 th

Finally, It’s Friday after adjusting with new place, vibes and environment at EIS. It has
been only a few days but I feel like I grew a lot familiar with the place and people, teacher, stuffs
around here. They all friendly and supportive. They all willing to help whenever, we need help.
During these only class days, we internship students take term to assist students who are studying
online class in the library. The librarians are friendly and warmly welcome us. They instructed us
to how to assist students and help them.

Monday, January 25th

After a fine weekend, It’s Monday again. Another online week to go. We are still asking
to wear mask and face shield together. In the morning, I was observing the class math, music,
Thai, and social class. Because there is no marking for the worksheet. I just help the two students
in the classroom. In the afternoon, I was assisting students in the library.

Tuesday, January 26 th

Today class start with Chinese class. The students seemed happy in Chinese class
because they always get to do activity during Chinese class. After Chinese class, continue with
Thai, Math class. Afternoon was take term library assisting. After library, come back to the class
for helping teacher with language art and value class.

Wednesday, January 27th

Today class start with homeroom teacher class, which is Math class. The chapter is about
coin and money. I help teacher teaching online and marking every worksheet of this Chapter.
Today, observing and helping teacher with language art and value class.
Thursday, January 28th

Today helping teacher reviewing Math class because they going write Math test on
Friday. After that, continue to observing the Adventure, Thai, and science class. Afternoon, after
lunch, I was taking term in library. After library, come back to the class and helping the two
students with science project. We finished class at 2 p.m. After sending students their guardian, it
was finish for the days.

Friday, January 29 th

It’s Friday again, after observing a long week. Today class, start with Math class. I
helped teacher to assist student taking their Math class. Continue the class with Thai, Science.
Afternoon, taking term in the library again. Today I stayed up late with teacher assistant to finish
the bulletin boards. She was so happy that she has someone to help her. Today helping with
arranging the desks and chairs in the classroom because the students will come back on Monday.

Monday, February 1th

After a fine weekend, It’s another week to start go. Today, the school resume faces to
face class. I was a bit exciting to meet the students after a long observing through online class.
This morning when I arrived the classroom some of the students already in the class. They were
seemed a bit wonder when they saw me. But it was a good day to see the students. Even thought,
it’s the first day that we met, they impress me that they friendly and we can get a long every
easily. But still there are few students didn’t present to the class. So, teacher Alpha still have to
use Zoom to teach so that students who stay at home they can learn along with their classmate.
Teacher Alpha introduce me to the students and she starts the class right away. When she taught
in her room, me and teacher assistant help her to monitor students who are learning in the
classroom. In the afternoon, after finished the class we have to send students to their guardian. It
was my first time to experience this. we took the students to the first floor, to wait for their
guardian to pick up them. we can only go home when we finished sent all the students to their
guardian. Today was a tiring resuming face to face class after a long online class. Monitoring
students in the classroom and sent them home after school.
Tuesday, February 2 th

Today start with Chinese class. Still all the students and teacher have to wear mask and
face shield. During this class, I didn’t need to assist so I just marking student’s worksheet. After
Chinese class, me and teacher assistant took students to PE class. Help teacher with monitoring
and activities. After PE class, continue with Thai class and Math class. Face to face class is
resumed so I don’t need to assist in the library. After lunch, continue to help teacher and
observing the Language art and value class. After the class, we sent students home. Usually
when we took students, we separated two groups, girls will go with me and boys will go with
teacher pray. It was a good and happy day to spend time with these amazing and huge energy
students.

Wednesday, February 3th

It’s good to start another fine day. we usually start the class with praising and praying.
After singing few songs the worship will end with prayer. Me and teacher Pray we took term for
prayer. we took alternate day to pray. This morning, I observing and help monitoring students in
Math, Thai, and science. During lunch, I helped teacher Pray to serve lunch for the students.
After lunch it was computer class, teacher pray sent students to computer class. we are free
during this class. After computer class, it’s art class and library. Teacher Pray taught me how to
take students to the library and how to behave the students during library time. After school, we
sent students to their guardians.

Thursday, February 4th

Today start the class with praising and prayer. Teacher Pray took term for prayer this
week. This morning starts the class with Math. After that sent students to PE class. After PE
class, the girl will come back with and the boys will come back with teacher Pray. Students have
to wash up and use the toilet every time they done with PE class. I help teacher pray to monitor
students when they washed up and cleaned up in the toilet. After this it is Thai class, so I have to
take non-Thai students to sixth floor. This is my everyday routine during school days. I have sent
non-thai students the class and picked up them. After long day, we sent students to their
guardians.
Friday, February 5th

It has been a week since we started face to face classes. I get used to with the classes
where to take students and we grew more relationship and bonding with one another. Today
observing and helping teacher with class usual. But during science class accident happened a bit.
One of the students drop the dust on the floor while teacher Alpha is teaching. The other students
who see the dust and he wanted to help out so he went out of the class to get the broom without
informing me and teacher Pray because we are with students assisting them in live stream class.
Teacher Alpha was teaching in her private room. It caused teacher Alpha to unsatisfied because
she was teaching and the students are busy to clean up the floor. For me, I think that it’s okay let
the students to help each other but it wasn’t the right time to do that because teaching is teaching
behind. Me and teacher Pray, we both got scolded. We couldn’t manage the students while she is
teaching. It was a good experience and I have learned from that.

Monday, February 8th

Another week to go face to face to class with face shield and mask. All students were
present and came back to the class. Students are total number in nineteen, actually twenty
students in grade 2 B, but one Indian couldn’t fly back to Thailand so only him not in the class.
Today teacher Alpha taught in front the classroom. No more live stream classes. In the morning,
I assisted teacher in Math, Music and social study class. I took non-Thai students to the class
because they separated non- Thai students with Thai class. Today was helping with marking and
preparing science project for the students. After school, sent students to their guardian.

Tuesday, February 9 th

Today start the class with praising and prayer. This week my term to take lead in prayer.
this morning started with Chinese class, after that sent students to PE class. I took care of the
students and helping teacher during PE class. Today, after lunch students are doing science
project (Dinosaur). We all helped students in their project the whole evening. After school, sent
students to their guardians. We like the time, after school, because I got to play some games with
students to grew a strong relationship while they are waiting for their guardians. It’s fun and we
enjoyed it a lot.
Wednesday, February 10th

As usual, today started the class with praising and prayer. In the morning, all the classes
are homeroom teacher class except Thai class. After lunch, I assist students to finish up science
assignment. There is no more lecturing class. But students have the library class to borrow books
and listen to the story. After school, we sent students to their guardians.

Thursday, February 11th

Today start the class with praising and prayer. Teacher Pray took term for prayer this
week. This morning starts the class with Math. After that sent students to PE class. After PE
class, the girl will come back with and the boys will come back with teacher Pray. Students have

monitoring students in the class. I also get ready lesson I am going to teach on tomorrow. After
school, we sent student to their guardians.

Tuesday, February 16 th

As usual we today we start the day with prayer and praising. Today was I first day to
teach. I felt very exciting and worried. Somehow, I could manage to overcome excitement and
worried. My lesson went well and well done at times despite I have a little to improve in
classroom management. In the afternoon, I continue to taught values class. The story is about
David (From shepherd to king). After school, we sent students to their guardians.
Wednesday, February 17th

Today, I taught Math chapter 9- lesson 2. It is about analyzing data. During my class, if I
needed in classroom management, teacher help me to correct the students. After finished
teaching, I checked students’ worksheet during chapel. But students don’t have chapel but
teacher asked them to do other subject. Afternoon students have art and library class. I just
helped teacher and took students to the library.

Thursday, February 18th

As usual, we start the class with praising and prayer. Today, I continue Math lesson-3. It
feels like less worried and became comfortable in front of the class while teaching. I feel like I
have so much energy today. The lesson went very well. Students’ seemed to enjoy the class with
me. In the afternoon I help teacher in art class. It is thread painting. The painting went well and
students enjoy doing it but we need to control then a little bit hard.

Friday, February 19th

Today start the class with prayer and praising as usual. I continued with Math lesson 4
and 5. It was a long chapter with a lot worksheet. It took two periods to finish the two chapter. A
lot energy is needed. In the afternoon, I continue value class. Today value class is not just a story
telling and completing worksheet. Teacher Alpha give me the class to do role as I requested. So
the rehearsing might take two weeks until final performance. Today, just a brief introducing the
role-play story. Separate students into two teams. Group of 9 and 10. we chose the cast who will
play to role. Today is just discussing about the casts and props that are going to use in the play.

Monday, February 22th

Today start the class with prayer and praising as usual. Today, continue with math lesson
6. In the afternoon, group one started practicing the role-play. We took alternate day to practice
the role-play. When group one is practicing with me, group two will practice the script with
teacher Pray.

Today start the class with prayer and praising as usual. Today, continue with math lesson
7 and 8. In the afternoon, group one started practicing the role-play. We took alternate day to
practice the role-play. When group one is practicing with me, group two will practice the script
with teacher Pray. Today, group two was practicing the role-play with me. The other group
practice script with teacher Pray.

Wednesday, February 24th

Today, finished up with all lesson in chapter 9. So, this morning just reviewing and
helped the students complete the all the worksheet. They are going to take test on Thursday.
Today no value class, because they have library. After school, we sent students to their
guardians.

Thursday, February 25th

Today start the class with prayer and praising as usual. Today, students took math test in
the first class of the day. They looked so ready and confident to do the test. I helped teacher sent
students to non-Thai class. In the afternoon, during value class students continue to practice role-
play. I successfully finished up with Math the whole chapter. Another chapter to go. It is chapter
10 (about telling time).

Monday, March 1 st

Today start the class with prayer and praising as usual. Last week, we have done with
Math chapter 9. We have to continue with another chapter. But today has not started new chapter
yet. Because students are trying to finished up with other subjects as mid- year exam is coming
soon. Today, just assisting students and practice the role-play.

Tuesday, March 2nd

As usual today class started with prayer and praising. Today there is no math class for me
to teach yet. We just continued to practice role-play as the due day is near. Taking students to PE
class and non-Thai students to the class. Another observing and assisting day has end amazingly.
Wednesday, March 3rd

Today I have prepared the activity for the chapter 10. Teacher Alpha asked me to just do
the activity first before going to the lesson. we are planning to do a week activity for the Chapter
10 as they are getting ready with 4th quarter. Because new chapter can continue, only after the
end of 3rd quarter. I introduced the chapter and explain them after that we did short activity about
analog and digital clock. In the afternoon, we sent students to computer and library class.

Thursday, March 4th

Today we did activity and play games during Math class. students seemed to enjoy the
games a lot. But one of the students he got mad because he couldn’t do the question. It was a bit
shock that our class became chaos because his manner. Teacher Alpha helped me to settle down
him to understand the games. He was crying and shouting. But after a while he settles down, we
continue the class as usual.

Friday, March 5th

Finally, it comes to the weekend. Today, also doing Math chapter 10 activity. Students
work on writing the time, painting and folding on their worksheet. In the afternoon, we continue
practicing role-play. Students became to improving with their plays and memorizing the script.

Monday, March 8th

Another productive week to go. Today, it comes to almost the end of the 3rd quarter. So I
have to finish up with all the grading for students’ math worksheet. I worked almost all day to
complete marking and complete scoring. In the afternoon, Students are getting ready for
tomorrow real show for the role-play.

Tuesday, Match 9th

Today is the first day that I am going to teach PE class. I was nervous and worried. The
second period was PE class. somehow, the class went well. Students told me they really enjoy
the PE games and activity. But the warm up and cool down session was a bit hard for them to do.
In the afternoon, there is a real role-play performance. We just did it in the classroom and I
didn’t ask students to buy any costume because I don’t want to waste their money on that. We
just a simple role-play in the classroom for students to enjoy the activity and work as a team.
Wednesday, March 10

Today, I don’t have any class to teach. I just help teacher assisting students and took
students to computer and library class.

Thursday, March 11

Today is the end of the 3rd quarter. All the homeroom teacher has to submit the grade and
have a meeting. I didn’t teach any class today. I just help teacher checking and assisting students
in the classroom. I helped teacher for grading and stayed up late until 5:40 p.m. It was a long
day, but I am happy to get to help them.

Monday, March 15

After a long weekend, we are coming back to school again. Today school started 4th
quarter classes. 3rd quarter grading and lessons were all completed. Another quarter to begin. I
started to teach Math chapter 10, it is about (telling the time). Today, I complete math lesson 1
and 2. After we have finished with role-play, we haven’t resume the value class yet.

Tuesday, March 16th

Today I continued math chapter 10, lesson 3. Only one lesson today. I taught the PE class
also. It’s so fun to taught the PE class. I really enjoyed to teach PE class. Another amazing day
has ended.

Wednesday, March 17th

Today I continued math chapter 10, lesson 4 and 5. To took two periods to finish two
lesson of math. It was another productive day using a lot of energy. The rest of the time, I
marked student’s math worksheet and help teacher assisting students. As usual took students to
non- homeroom teacher class.

Thursday, March 18th

Today we go with math chapter 10, lesson 6. Today I have covered only one chapter. Our
value class has not resume yet. Still trying to finished with other important project and subjects.
Another amazing day has end with assisting students and helping teacher.
Friday, March 19th

Today review student’s math chapter 10. There are only 6 lessons in this chapter. I helped
the students to complete the all the worksheet papers as they are going to take math test on
Monday. So they have to study and practice on weekend. Today we resume the value class. But
today I only go through the memory verse with action and the song with action. The story is
about Ruth.

Monday, March 22th

Another weekend has end and time to start another week days. So much energy is
needed. I assisted the students when they took the math test. During value class we sing a song of
Ruth and Naomi with action. I told the story of Ruth and Naomi. But still haven’t covered the
value worksheet and activity.

Tuesday, March 23th

Today I have complete with all the math chapters. I ready to teach another subjects. But
still teacher Alpha looking for a day to let me teach. I only taught value class today. we started
the value with signing a song with action. After that I taught and helped students to completed
the worksheets.

Wednesday, March 24th

In the morning I helped teacher for marking and assist the students. Helped teacher to
take students other classes. In the afternoon, I taught value class. During this week I only get to
teach value class. Another long weekend to go.

teach value class again. Teacher Alpha still haven’t decided the day to let me teach yet. Today
values story was about King Solomon (a wise king).

It was a long weekend again. Today we started the class with praising and prayer. I didn’t
teach any class today. I just helping teacher.

Wednesday, April 7th

We don’t have school on Tuesday. Today is very special because our supervisor came for
observing class. Today I taught language Art about (what is adverb). I don’t have other subject to
teach but helping teacher.

Thursday, April 8th

Actually, today I supposed to teach science class. It’s still observing day for my
professor. Unfortunately, the class switch to online learning mode. I didn’t get to teach any
classes today, just went to the class. There are two faculty kids learning the online class in the
classroom. I just assist them and helping teacher.

Friday, April 9th

It was another day of online class. Today I got to teach value class. The story about Jesus
and his disciples. The rest of the days I just helping the two students in the class. There is no
marking today. After today, we got a long Songkrang holiday about a week.

Monday, April 19

We resumed the online class again after along Songkrang holiday. I didn’t teach any class
today. I just observing and assisting online class. Actually if we resume the face to face class, I
have to teach language art and science class. But the covid cases are still high and face to face
class couldn’t resume at all.

Tuesday, April 20

Today I only got to teach value class, the story is about Zachhaus. I taught students online
it was a bit hard to teach online because I couldn’t communicate them directly. I am really happy
that got to see them and talked with the.
Wednesday, April 21th

Today I didn’t teach any class. I just helped and assisted teacher during her online class.
It’s quite without students.

Thursday, April 22th

Another day to go online class. I got to teach value class, it is still the story of Zacchaus.
Today I told the story and helps students do their work sheets

Friday, April 23th

It comes to the weekend since the class switched to online classes. It was along boring
day without students. Today, I didn’t teach, but I asked students to record a video of reciting
memory verse.

Monday, April 26th

The weekend has ended and another online week to start. I didn’t teach any class. I
helped the two students in the class and took care of them

Thursday, April 27th

The end of my day as an internship has ended today. I still get to teach value class. After
value class I say goodbye to the students. They also thank me for teaching them and have spent
time together with them. How sweet is that, they sent me love and a sweet word before I leave. I
am gonna miss them for sure.

Friday, April 30th

Today, I have no more class. But all our internship students we have farewell lunch
teachers and administrator. I was so thankful for farewell lunch and the gifts. After that, we took
picture together with staffs and homeroom teachers. I felt something empty inside my heart after
I get used to with place in few months. Somehow, it is time to leave just keep the good memories
with me.
