DOMAIN 1: CONTENT KNOWLEDGE AND PEDAGOGY

A.Experiences
This have been challenging for some, especially those who do not have gadgets
and laptops. In my experience, I was able to create Instructional Materials like PowerPoint
presentation which is very relevant in today’s set-up of education. The content knowledge
was clear, me as the teacher-intern and to my students. Students are expected to learn a
lot from us as teacher-intern. I also make sure that my lesson will be relevant in today’s
set-up of education and students will participate in the said activity in my lesson plan.
When we are at the online class set-up, we are using ICT in a positive and

As teachers, we must be prepared and ready for every situation we are in especially in
teaching. We also need to be knowledgeable about our topics that we are going to impart to our
students so that our students will be able to learn and gained enough knowledge.
Teachers who are knowledgeable about their subject usually have good practical
framework for students. Since they less dependent on the textbook, they will focus more on the
practical concept of the subject.
In conclusion, when it comes to this first domain, we have to apply the seven composed
standards so that we can be great teachers and our students will learn more form us.
DOMAIN 2: LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
A. Experiences
My first shift of teaching with the Grade 8 students of LNU-ILS was quite good and
enjoying. I have created fun and engaging activities to gain the attention and participation of my
students. For example, four pics one-word, red light, green light, charades and many more.

As teachers, we have to fucose in creating an environment of learning and engaging and
efficiently managing learner behavior especially in virtual class set-up. We have to utilize a range
of resources and provide intellectually challenging and stimulating activities to encourage
constructive classroom interactions geared towards the attainment of high standards of learning.
In conclusion, we have to demonstrate understanding of learning environments that
promote fairness, respect and care to encourage learning.

I meet different students, from different genders, age, interests, religious background and
beliefs. I made sure that when I discuss, all will be inclusive and no one should left behind. I
have to cater all the individual differences and focus on imparting learnings and knowledge

As teachers, we have to consider diversity among our learners. We must encourage
engagement with diversity that will ten to enhance levels of our student academic validation. We
have to expose all our students to a variety of materials, activities, and assessments. A range of
technologies provide useful support for teaching diverse student populations, from initial
engagement and information gathering to creating active and adaptive lessons and leveraging
flexible eLearning tools.
Furthermore, we have to cater all individual difference and promote inclusive learning so
that classroom will have unity in learning and harmony in gaining knowledge and information.

DOMAIN 4: CURRICULUM AND PLANNING


A. Experiences
We are Group No. 3 of teacher interns that will be deployed to teaching. Our STE assigned
and give us topics and prepare for it.
Individually, we have to create our own Lesson Plan and really think of teaching strategies
that corresponds to the topic so that students will learn better.
We identify learning outcomes that are aligned with learning competencies so that this will
guide us and our students in achieving learning throughput the end of the session.

In this domain, we the teacher-interns developed Summative Assessment through the use
of Google Forms, we created quiz and send it to our STE for the students we have handled.

As future teachers, we must be able to create our own summative assessment, quizzes,
exams and other papers related to evaluation and assessment. We must demonstrate
knowledge of the design, selection, organization and use of diagnostic, formative and
summative assessment strategies consistent with curriculum requirements.

As we go along to our teaching internship, it is important we have to be knowledgeable about the
things that we must engage to, we must widen our understanding and knowledge about education.
I have attended so many international webinars that talks about teaching as profession and all
about education especially during this pandemic. These international webinars are from the
Institute of Global Professionals. It widens my mind and helped me understand more. I have also
attended webinar online from the UST which discussed about “democracy as the foundation of
education and for the local webinar the “SQUbinar 2021”

As future teachers, we have to be mindful about the things happening around us. We are
teachers who impart knowledge and learning to our students. There are times that our
students have problems, we don’t know where they coming from that can affect their
learning. As teacher, we have to demonstrate behaviors that uphold the dignity of teaching as a
profession by exhibiting qualities such as caring attitude, respect and integrity. We have to be
considerate and understanding, put into our minds that students needs knowledge and learning
from us not anger.
Thsese webinars has a great help for us future teachers. This will give us extra learnings
and knowledge that we can use in teaching.
