MINUTES OF THE MEETING

1. The minutes of the HPTA meeting are conducted on September 2, 2022, at


exactly 9:00 A.M.
2. Twnenty parents/guardians attended the meeting.
3. The agenda of the meeting are as follows:
a. Class Schedule and Activities
b. Classroom/School Rules
c. School Project/Program
d. Documents to be submitted
e. Election of PTA officers
f. Other concerns
4. The meeting started with a prayer led by Ms. Jennifer Genson, the subject
teacher (since the class adviser is on leave). Next, the attendance was
checked, and then the supportive parents and guardians of Grade 12 Hornbill
were warmly welcomed.
5. The teacher discussed the agenda comprehensively with the attendees to
address their concerns regarding the school rules, policies, programs, and
schedules relative to the opening of classes.
6. The class schedule and activities were reiterated with three groups of pupils.
The classroom and home-based activities were stressed to optimize the
learners' time at school and home, anchored in the subject teacher's weekly
learning plan.
7. The classroom/school rules were explained to the parents whereas:
a. Students must come to school as early as 6:00 a.m. or before 6:30
a.m.
b. Please follow up on your child's activity, especially home-based
activities, and support our program in reading and numeracy.
c. Do not tolerate your child's absences, tardiness, and behavior.
d. Please ask the teacher about your child's progress and status
e. Cooperate with the adviser.
f. The teacher talked about the importance of school programs/and plan
like the REA (Reinforcement/Enrichment Activities), RIF (Reading
Intervention in Filipino), and RIE (Reading intervention in English) to
improve their skills in reading, arithmetic, and other skills that need to
intervene.
8. Parents/guardians were reminded of the documents that must be submitted,
particularly for transferees, to keep records and information of the learners.
9. The election of PTA officers was actively participated by parents/guardians.
10. The last part of the meeting was an open forum. During the meeting, the
adviser answered and clarified all the parents' and guardians' queries.
11. The meeting was successfully adjourned at 11 o’clock in the morning.
