Journal Description

The Journal of Management (JOM) is devoted to publishing high-impact scholarly


analytical and theoretical research papers in the area of management. New ideas or
observations on current studies are encouraged in the journal.

 Organizational behavior
 Human resource management
 Organizational theory
 Entrepreneurship
 Research Methods
 Business plan and policy

The Review Issues come out twice a year, in January and July. These topics
contain collections of papers in the area of management that are widely read and
quoted, and have become a valuable resource for management scholars.

The Review Issues cover a variety of subjects, methodologies, and analytical


paradigms from a variety of scholarly disciplines. In December, a call for
proposals for the review issue is released. During the month of June, proposals can
be presented.

Aims and Scope


The Journal of Management invites scientific and analytical papers on workplace
dynamics at the micro, and macro levels. Market strategy and regulation,
entrepreneurship, human resource management, organizational behavior,
organizational philosophy, and research methods are among the topics covered by
manuscripts appropriate for publication in the Journal of Management.

2nd. Journal of East European Management Studies 

AIM

The main aim of the Journal of East European Management Studies to

 Encourage discussion
 Collaboration among scholars interested in investigating
 exploring, and describing management behavior
 Practices of management within the transforming societies of Central and
Eastern Europe.

The journal's theoretical concerns include:

 Organizational and management reform,

 Transitional or transformational processes in Central and East European


societies (including those on the periphery of Europe)

 Scientific problems of industry, management, and organization that emerge


in such contexts.

DESCRIPTION

The International Journal of Management Reviews (IJMR) is the leading global


review journal in Organization and Management Studies (OMS). Papers published
in IJMR seek to make significant conceptual contributions, offering a strategic
platform for new directions in research and making a difference to how OMS
scholars might conceptualize research in their respective fields. In reviews
published in IJMR, the state of knowledge in a given field is critically evaluated,
and conceptual underpinnings of competing paradigms critically appraised, with a
view towards advancing current and future research in the area.

OBJECTIVE
IJMR complements the other publications produced by the British Academy of
Management and is deliberately targeted at a wide OMS readership. IJMR is thus
distinctive in its generalist appeal, with a focus on theoretical underpinnings and
accessible to a broad range of research traditions. The journal covers all the main
OMS sub-disciplines including, for example, Human Resource Management,
Organizational Behavior, International and Strategic Management,
Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Management Sciences, Information
Systems and Technology Management, Accounting and Finance, and Marketing.

 The journal will enable senior faculty to undertake more interdisciplinary


research by providing a wider understanding or emerging thought and
methodological developments in other fields, and by so doing, facilitating the
development of Trans disciplinarily.
 More established researchers who are looking to update their knowledge in
their own particular field, or who are shifting their area of focus or developing
collaborative or inter-disciplinary work extending beyond their established
specialization.
 Supporting doctoral candidates in the production of their theses by
producing comprehensive reviews/debates and to locate their research within
past, present and future debates.

SCOPE

The objectives of the Australian Journal of Management are to encourage and


publish research in the field of management. The terms management and
research are both broadly defined. The former includes the management of
firms, groups, industries, regulatory bodies, government, and other
institutions. The latter encompasses both discipline and problem-based
research. Consistent with the policy, the Australian Journal of Management
publishes peer-reviewed research in accounting, applied economics, finance,
industrial relations, political science, psychology, statistics, and other
disciplines. This is providing that the application is to management and
research in areas such as marketing, corporate strategy, operations
management, organisation development, decision analysis, and other
problem-focused paradigms.

The Journal of Management Studies (JMS) is an internationally recognized, multidisciplinary

international business, entrepreneurship, creativity, and critical management research are among
the areas in which JMS publishes innovative empirical and conceptual papers that advance
