Set Induction:
Teacher : take a look at two pictures that you can see on the screen. First picture denotes a very
hot day. Now what usually happens on a very hot day. When you are outside you will be e
sweating very profusely and you will be feeling very uncomfortable. Because you can feel the
heat that is coming from sun. Similarly what do you think will happen on a very cold and chilly
day?
Now in this picture you can see a snowfall is taking place. Now obviously you will feel lack of
heat. That is you will not be able to feel the warmth that comes from the Sun.
So what do you think distinguishes a hot day from a cold day. If we were to describe summer in
one word would say it’s very hot. Similarly if we were to describe winter in one word we would
say it’s cold. So what do you think its this hot and cold?
