In my own understanding, communication in the workplace refers to the exchange of ideas

among employers and its employees. It is an essential tool in getting the job done as well as
maintaining a strong relationship with your colleagues. The significance of communication in the
workplace runs deep within a business since it enables employers to build trust among
employees, which leads to productivity, output and morale in general. As for the employees,
communication in the workplace allows them to be an asset of a company. In addition,
employees will be more engaged in their work. However, these significances are only attainable
if an organization is practicing good workplace communication.

b. Health- Communication in the workplace is a very crucial component in the field of health. It
is really indispensable because through this, you can either save or take a life. Workplace
communication in health care ensures patients that they got a correct diagnosis. Moreover, it is
the most important tool in providing patient care and satisfaction, medical researches, and
collaborating with colleagues. When one belonged in the field of health, one should be a good
listener that responds to patient needs accordingly

c. Education- Leadership is a trait that is very significant in the field of education and this skill
should be possessed by the school principal. In the field of education, communication is an
essential tool in teaching and gaining knowledge. Having a good communication in the field of
education influences student outcomes, strengthen relationship with staffs and building a sense
of trust among them.

d. Science- When scientist communicate effectively, science thrives. Workplace communication

is important in the field of science because it is used to communicate information in a scientific
workplace. Being able to communicate properly gives opportunities to various ideas to be
discovered. Communication may be done in different forms like emails, leaflets, magazines or
newsletters. It also allows scientist to write research papers comprehensively.

e. Social Media- Communication in social media has changed the people’s perspective about
communication. It lets people share information in just a click. However, there is no certainty
that these information are correct. That is why workplace communication in the field of social
media is very significant because it allows people to avoid fake news and share more relevant
information to the public. It enables people to communicate well with others virtually without
the rise of miscommunication.
