 Preface
Thank you for using the company's DXB06 series lithium battery management system, in
order to enable you to better use and maintain this product, please read this specification carefully
before you use it.
The DXB06 series is a battery management system designed and manufactured by our
company for 6-15 series power lithium battery pack. It can provide perfect protection for
multi-string lithium battery pack. It can accurately calibrate lithium battery parameters such as
voltage, current and temperature. It can be a variety of fault detection alarm and do the relevant
work, the system has a black box function, real-time recording of the events’ time and code data.
The system uses the Calculation of Coulomb Electricity, and it can realize the dynamic accurate
estimation of the electric quantity through the calculation and the compensation. The system has a

balanced function, through a unique balance mechanism to ensure and extend the available
capacity of batteries.

Through different communication protocol, such as UART, LIN, Bluetooth, RS485, etc., the
system can communicate with controller, instrument, mobile App, PC and other system unit to

realize real-time monitoring of battery pack information and the demands of other special control

and the mainboard should be less than 50cm.

4.2 Network communication 485 bus

BMS products support 485 bus as optional communication, support networking, the baud rate

485B, VCC, to connect to BMS. If the equipment for the common ground, that only need three

4.3 Point-to-point communication UART
As optional communication, UART and LIN buses can only choose one of them, clients need
to specify when ordering, UART communication cannot be networked because the communication
distance is short, suitable for simple point-to-point communication, the baud rate of 9600bps, it

need four lines: GND, RX, TX, VCC, to connect to BMS, if the equipment for the common
ground, that only need three lines: RX, TX, VCC.
Like LIN bus communication, the BMS can communicate with the PC software what
provided by the company via the USBSMART adapter, please refer to the "BMS User Manual of
D-powercore Co., LTD".
In order to ensure the safe operation of BMS products, UART communication protocol is not
provided in the specifications. If necessary, please apply to the company.
4.4 Wireless communication BLE
BLE is Bluetooth 4.0 low power communication; BMS can communicate with a device with

5 Operation Instructions

5.1 Battery Boot

After the battery is switched on, it can output and communicate, the boot method have these

1、Button, there is a switch button on the power display board, when the battery is power-off,

press the button to make battery on .

2、Load wake-up boot, in the case of shutdown and disconnect the load, the battery can boot
access to the load.

3、Charging wake-up boot, in the case of shutdown, access charger automatically boot.
4、Communication wake-up boot, in the case of shutdown, LIN bus or UART communication

will wake up the battery boot

5.2 Battery Power-off

When the battery shutdown it will turn off the output, the shutdown method have these

followings:
1、Button, press the power display panel for 3 seconds in the case of power-on and the battery
will power-off.
2、When the battery current is persistently less than 200mA (configurable), no communication,
the battery shutdown after 30 minutes (configurable).
3、Automatic shutdown when the battery short-circuit protection.

4、Automatic shutdown after the battery under-voltage continued for 1 minute.
5.3 Safety of Battery
All the protective parameters should be configured strictly according to the actual battery
condition, otherwise it may cause danger, please note the following:
1、If short-circuit current is too large, because the battery capacity is small, discharge rate is small,
the battery resistance is big or other reasons, the current that even if is completely short circuited
with the positive and negative two levels cannot reach the short-circuit protection current, leading
to battery damage.
2、If the parameters of over-voltage protection are too high, the battery will be caused by

over-voltage irreversible damage.
3、If the parameters of under-voltage protection are too low, that will make the battery to result in

irreversible damage due to over-discharge.

4、If the configuration parameters exceeds the limit parameters of BMS, that will lead to BMS
