Action Project Reflection- Animal Defense

In this project we chose an organization that helped problems going on around

the world now. We chose an organization that both me and my partner felt passionate

about (World Wildlife Fund) ; to help them we sent a letter and created an instagram to

spread the word about their project and get them any help. The purpose of this project is

to spread awareness on real problems that are affecting our world, but also help the

organizations that fight these problems everyday. 

This project has taught me to pay attention to problems and not just ignore them.

Before I did this, I overlooked these things because of how negative they were, but

realized now that to change something you can't ignore it. This also taught me to work

better with another person, I like to do things by myself; I am not really social with

people I don't feel comfortable with, but this experience was good for me, so that I

could grow in that area. I also learned about the negative impacts of what humans are

doing is having on animals, and the environment. As humans we need animals to

survive, because they each play an important role in maintaining the environment

sustainably for us, so us taking care of animals instead of hunting them is a way of

helping with that. This project was impactful for me because I was and am able to help

an organization that is working on making the world a better place, the idea of me being

able to change the world came to reality with this project.

If we would have had more time, and this pandemic wasn't going around the

world, I would have gone out there and personally taught people about the impacts this

organization makes and the importance of animals. I hope this project brings light and

hope to people that come across it, but also inspire them to take care of what has been

given to us. We would continue to spread awareness using technology and just trying as

best as we can to bring positivity with a message as well.

 If I could do this project again I would take more time to plan out the structure

of how our instagram was going to look like and focus more on that. A big

improvement would also be the communication I have with my partner; because of

everything that has been going around it was harder to communicate, and for things like

this it is better to do it in person. I loved doing this, and there is not much I would

change, except for those things. 

I hope my project is changing the way people are viewing animals and how they

take care of them. I would do this again 100x more, because it is really good to be part

of change. The World Wildlife Fund is doing amazing things, and we wanted to hop on

their project and help as much as we can. 

My partner and I worked together very well, you can see that in the organization,

the work that was turned in, and our instagram. The workload for this project was split

so we didn't really have a lot of problems with that. I would want her as my partner any

day, we worked well together and it was a fun and refreshing experience overall.
