LORENZO CERVANTES y SERMONIA , male, 73 years old, married and a

resident of Jaro, Iloilo City personally reported to the Office of the Punong
Barangay thru Punong Barangay Leticia Makabanting and alleged that at about
9:30 am, Lorenzo Cervantes together with his family members Mercedes
Cervantes , Jesusa Candelon, Gloria B. Cervantes, Calixto Bolivar, Rona Hernal
went to Sitio Kuliatan, Brgy. Sinogbuhan, San Joaquin, Iloilo went to their tenant
in the name of Uldarico Jalandoni for relocation survey by Cubing Surveying
Team.
Further, informants reported that on or about 1:00 pm while surveying the
land, a group of people in the name of Annabelle Selga , Melanie Selga, Solly
Selga Servano, Mercy Selga Cervantes and other unidentified group of men
intruded and trespassed the said private premises of the dwelling of Uldarico
Jalandoni. Right in front of Lorenzo Cervantes and his family, one of the women in
the name of Anabelle Selga without any courtesy or even introducing herself
shouted “ diin ang tag-iya, diin ang engineer” (“Where is the owner, where is the
engineer”) She then proceeded to Lorenzo Cervantes . Lorenzo Cervantes then
answered that he is the owner and said that he is only going to measure the
extent of the land that they own and will exclude other lands that does not
belong to them. Gloria B. Cervantes , wife of Lorenzo Cervantes went to the latter
due to fear that her husband might have his Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary
Disease (COPD) attack.
Further, Annabelle Selga kept on ranting and shouting “diin ang engineer,
diin ang engineer” (“where is the enginner, whereis the engineer”). Gloria
Cervantes then approached Anabelle Selga to tone down her voice because she is
afraid that her husband might have his COPD asthma attack. However, Anabelle
Selga answered “ wala ko nahadlok, wala ko may ginakahadlukan” (“I’m not
afraid, I’m not afraid of anything”).
After some time, Engr. Andres Cubing and Anabelle Selga talked but
Annabelle kept on ranting and shouting then the tenant in the name of Uladarico
Jalandoni asked Anabelle Selga “Ano tu, tga diin tinyu aw, diin inyu lupa aw?”
(What was that, where is your residence, where is your land?) but Annabelle
Selga and her sister Melanie Selga kept on ranting and making drastic movement
of their hands on their way out.
On their way home from Sinogbuhan to Iloilo City, Lorenzo Cervantes
alleged that he was not feeling well and had symptoms of high blood due to the
earlier confrontation with the Selgas’ siblings and due to that he suffered
sleepless nights.

ULDARICO JALANDONI y SANTISTEBAN, 49 years old , married and a

resident of Sitio Kuliatan, Brgy. Sinogbuhan, San Joaquin, Iloilo personally
reported to the Office of the Punong Barangay thru Punong Barangay Leticia
Macabanting and alleged that on or about 1:00 pm while the surveying team is
conducting land survey on the property owned by Antonia S. Cervantes upon
which Uldarico Jalandoni is the tenant, a group of people in the name of
Annabelle Selga , Melanie Selga, Solly Selga Servano, Mercy Selga Cervantes and
other unidentified group of men intruded and trespassed the private premises of
Uldarico Jalandoni’s dwelling without permission from the owner expressly or
impliedly.
Further, informant reported that he witnessed the ranting and shouting of
Annabelle Selga and her drastic movements of her arms. The informant also
reported that on the way out of the sisters in the name of Anabelle Selga and
Melanie Selga they kept on ranting and so he asked them in a very calm tone and
voice “Ano tu, tga diin tinyu aw, diin inyu lupa aw?” (What was that, where is
your residence, where is your land?) however the said sisters did not answer and
kept on making drastic movements of their arms and ranting about the history of
the said disputed land.
