Smart Cities: Advanced Auto Cooking Gas cylinder booking system

along with kitchen security notification using IOT

ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION:
We all are very busy in our daily life and it is difficult to know the level of LPG gas
cylinder. If LPG is going to finish without informing us it can create difficult condition for
cooking etc.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

The existing system there is no specific device to interact with user automatically;
presently postman/courier person gives the courier letter box directly or drops the in front of the
home/office. So that we lost lots of important letters and couriers. To overcome this problem, we
implemented this system.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The proposed system consists of a weight sensor (force sensor) on top of which we place
the gas cylinder. Initially we assign a threshold weight and if the weight of the gas cylinder is
below the threshold, it is going to indicate that the gas cylinder will become empty soon. By
using a GSM module, we can send SMS to the gas agency to book a new cylinder. The weight of
the cylinder will be displayed over LCD. And if there’s any leakage of the gas cylinder, the gas
sensor MQ-6 will alert the system and triggers the exhaust fan which is connected over a relay.
