Quarter 3- Week 1-2

Pre-Activity

1. I had observe my surroundings.

2. Human, Fish, Dog
3. Rocks, Tree, Things
4. The object like human, fish are moving because they have the ability to do whereas the rock, tree
doesn’t have the ability to move.

Activity 3
1. Acceleration, rate at which velocity changes with time, in terms of both speed and direction. A
point or an object moving in a straight line is accelerated if it speeds up or slows down.
2. Acceleration (a) is the change in velocity (Δv) over the change in time (Δt), represented by the
equation a = Δv/Δt.
3. A straight line is a curve with constant slope. Since slope is acceleration on a velocity-time graph,
each of the objects represented on this graph is moving with a constant acceleration.

2. The motion of Juan is going faster.

Guide Questions 2
1. It’s like a line graph.
2. The speed of Juan is 250 m/min and in that interval, he's at rest and Juan would have needed 12
minutes to run 3000 m
3. Yes, because he is increasing his speed.

Whats In
1. Crop production includes all the feed sources that are required to maintain the dairy herd and the
resource inputs used to produce the crops.
2. Crop production supports the huge population of a country. All individuals depend on the crops for
their food. It also provides employment to a large number of people.
3. I used a hand trowel to put fertilizer in the soil and and a sprinkler to water the plants.
4. I will use my tools in working order and keep them clean always and hang them in a dry place.

3. Pest Control
4. Fertilizer Application
5. Direct Seeding

Whats In
1. The different farm tools are hand tools and farm implements.
2. Bend your knees and slide one hand down the handle then lift the soil on the blade. Avoid muscle
strains by depositing the soil a few paces away rather than twisting your torso to discard the soil.
3. In my own opinion, it depends on the space of the land and the number of crops to be harvested
but the more workers, the faster the work will be done.
4. Surface area is important to know situations where we want to wrap something, paint something
and eventually while building things to get the best possible design.

Additional Activities
1. Yes in order to plan the best way to enhance the production of the farm. It can help us assess the
improvement and keep track of our farm.
2. The importance of the planting arrangement in farming is it affects the growth of a plant, too close,
and the plants will have a smaller space to gather nutrients from the soil as it has another plant
nearby as its competitor.

Additional Activities

1. Using appropriate clothing in going to the farm must be considered. As well as being cautious in the
surroundings since there are tons of hazards. We must be observant to avoid risk and danger.
2. Applying proper equipment in going to the farm avoids unnecessary problems like getting injured
or accidents.
