PHILOSOPHY is the academic study of everything

Studies that have strong empirical elements came to be considered SCIENCE-a search for
answers.
But PHILOSOPHY came to be understood as a way of thinking about questions.
Philosophy is a way of thinking about the world, the universe, and society. It works by asking
very basic questions about the nature of human thought, the nature of the universe, and the
connections between them. The ideas in philosophy are often general and abstract.

NATURE OF PHILOSOPHY
NATURE-. "Nature" can refer to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in
general. The study of nature is a large, if not the only, part of science. Although humans are part
of nature, human activity is often understood as a separate category from other natural
phenomena.

Natural Philosophy or Philosophy of Nature was the philosophical study of nature and the
physical universe that was dominant before the development of modern science.
* The moment someone starts asking about his environment and his society, this person is
already philosophizing.
* It is in the nature of philosophy that a person inquires for the meaning of himself and the world
around him.
You started asking questions like, “WHAT IS THE WORLD LIKE?”
When you think about the questions, it may seem so easy to answer for us. Because you can just
look around and say that this is the world look like.
But in philosophical approach, they are not basing everything in just observing because for them,
there’s more complex questions.
They will come up to a question, “What is the nature of Philosophy?”
“Are this made up of matter and energy?”, “where does matter and energy come from?”
“Is there really a God?” so how does he, she or it look like?
That is one of the nature of philosophy.
Why is it important to know the nature of philosophy?
All human beings orient their lives around ideas about what reality is like, that they believe
explain their experiences, and ideas about what reality and human beings should be like,
that they use to guide their behavior.
Philosophy uses the tools of logic and reason to analyze the ways in which humans
experience the world. It teaches critical thinking, close reading, clear writing, and logical
analysis; it uses these to understand the language we use to describe the world, and our
place within it.
PHILOSOPHY is a study that seeks to understand the mysteries of existence and reality. It
tries to discover the nature of truth and knowledge and to find what is of basic value
and importance in life. It also examines the relationships between humanity and nature and
between the individual and society.

We all need personal philosophy in life or we risk wandering, and responding to random stimuli
and information with little or no impact on our long-term goals. A philosophy of life is an overall
vision or attitude toward life and the purpose of it. Human activities are limited by time, and
death.
