Participants’ Guidelines NPEO 2021

June 15th – 17th, 2021

GENERAL RULES:
1. NPEO 2021 will be held online via Zoom Application on June 15th - 17th, 2021.
The rundown for this competition can be accessed via bit.ly/RundownNPEO2021;
2. Each participant must be present at least 15 (fifteen) minutes before the competition
begins. Please be punctual as any tardiness might result in disqualification;
3. Participants are obliged to rename their Zoom account with the following format
“Type of Competition_Name_Institution”. For example: “Speech_Elaine_UI”;
4. Before the competition, participants are obliged to re-register themselves. The time
for re-registration can be seen from the rundown and will be reminded via the
WhatsApp group each day. You will be given private links to your email every day.
In order to re-register, you must click the following link and you will be automatically
checked in for the day. Failure to re-register for the day may result to disqualification;
5. Each participant must make sure that their internet connection is stable and the
camera is turned on during the competition;
6. During the competition, the committee will mute the microphone of all participants.
Participants are only allowed to unmute their microphone when performing and
talking;
7. If there are technical difficulties (such as any errors in microphones/speakers or
troubled internet connection) or should any problems arise during the performance of
the participants, to which is no fault of the participants, then the committee might
allow a restart with the discretion of the committee with the approval of the judges;
8. The judges’ decisions are final and there is no correspondence pertaining to the
judging process will be reconsidered;
9. The committee will mute all microphones, become the time keeper, and allocate you
to your breakout rooms;

“Panduan Pelaksanaan NPEO 2021”.

PREPARATION FOR THE COMPETITION


1. If possible, participants are expected to join the meeting room using a Laptop/PC for
better quality of the performance;
2. Ensure that your internet connection is decent and will support your performance;
3. Participants are required to download the latest version of Zoom;
4. Log in or create an account on Zoom (see Figure 1 and 2);

5. Do learn how to navigate your way on Zoom;


6. Test the audio system (microphone and speaker) in Zoom (see Figure 3); and

7. Rename your account on Zoom with the format given (see Figure 4).
