Standard II: Cultural & Instructional Leadership
Goal –To become a more effective mentor to staff members by understanding and implementing the teacher evaluation process, using it to give feedback more efficiently. Activity – Complete formal and informal observations that will provide the data used to evaluate overall effectiveness of classroom teachers based on modeling from my mentor. Activity – Model and communicate effective methods of classroom management and curriculum delivery in cafeteria, hallways and classroom visits. Standard III: Management of Organization,
Operation, & Resources Goal –To take an active role in managing all aspects of the allocated school budget, scheduling, class lists and other “behind the scenes” work throughout the school year. Activity – Before spending funds, check the balance of the account drawn from to be sure funds are available. Activity – Investigate most cost effective products and other ways to trim some expenses to allow for others and still remain within budget Felecia K. Hemingway

Members, & Families Goal –To host and promote activities that connect with the stakeholders outside of the school to help them feel welcome and integrated into the school community. Activity – Plan and coordinate activities like Curriculum Night, Santa’s Workshop/Sing-Along, Muffins with Moms, Donuts with Dads, etc. Activity – Attend board meeting to make further connections to the community and continue to build a partnership Timeline – End of the 2019-2020 school year Support Needed –Money to purchase refreshments, dates on the calendar to promote events, human resources to run events and manage visitors

Goal – To become more familiar with social-emotional learning and to figure out which style or program best meets the needs of our students to improve school climate and community. Activity – Plan and implement weekly PBIS incentives and monthly PBIS celebration assemblies to promote positive behavior. Leadership Internship Experience Goal –Successfully complete 220 internship hours in Educational Administration Activity – Work closely with my mentor and staff to apply various leadership strategies learned throughout the program Activity –Take the initiative to make executive decisions whenever possible with the consent of my mentor.
