Fairmont hotel and resort located near Amber road , 4.7 miles from Amber fort.
Fairmont is surrounded by the majestic Aravalli hills which make the hotel more unique
to look Fairmont Jaipur is an ode to the pink city through inspiring architecture and
décor , it is inspired by the Mughal dynasty and Royal Rajput. This luxury hotel is
nestled amongst the majestic Aravalli hills. Fairmont Jaipur is housed in a traditional
fort-like building and features efficient interiors inspired by Persian and ottoman styles.
All 245 rooms and suites are elegantly appointed to reflect a perfect blend of traditional
Rajasthani décor and modern amenities . All rooms boast character features including
Mughal-themed décor , studded timber doors , vaulted ceilings , four-poster beds and
pink stone baths , Wi-Fi , flat screen TV. The property has a large outdoor pool and
fitness centre , massage treatments are Available , spa which is called Ruhab , kids
area to play , free valet parking , a business centre and many conference halls like
Grand ballroom vruti and viti . Going through the grand staircase or lift there’s small
conference halls named Avi , sulek , Adhira, sohalia , yamir, Maira , Hela .
The property have dining option , indulge in fine international cuisine at zoya restaurant
which means sunshine , it’s a all day dining restaurant .
Zarin meaning Gold where feast and dishes are inspired by Royal Indian kitchens by
bygone days where Rajasthani dishes are served .
Anjum which is tea lounge and day bar also various drinks , beverages are served.
Aza which is bar and library where the guest can spend a pleasant evening inside or
outside at Aza terrace

The check-in time is 14.00 and the check out time is 12:00 , the guest can also have a
early check-in or late check-out talking during booking . The hotel offers luggage
storage to guest for check-in and after checkout . The hotel is great for weddings as it’s
provides many facilities to have a grand weddings with live- performance . The hotel
also broadcast live sports events , happy hours

SWOT ANALYSIS
Fairmont hotel and resort have been maintaining their good remarkable service , an
importance daily basis increasing the growth of the hotel especially their profit margins.
The strength of the hotel can be seen as highly qualified staff deals an and provide all
the request of the guest or clients . The staff and all the trainees of the hotel work hard
with the guidance provided by the managers and supervisors . They give important
information and the basic and education on the need to maintain a proper hospitality for
the guest and client satisfaction helping the hotel on the basis of growing and ranking
leaving a great mark to the guest
Fairmont has been the hotel to give 24-hour help desk which provide all the necessities
raised by the guest and can deals effectively with all the maintaining proper goods for
guest . The help desk also deals with the problem relating to technology which are
encounter by the guest during their stay . It also strengthen the hotel in all basis by
encouraging sufficient importance to be given in all aspects. Keeping proper eye detail I.
All surroundings the hotel and keeping great contact with each and every department
ensuring that the guest or client are fully satisfied to their needs which is sometimes
create great issue when gaining guest loyalty.
Another strength of the hotel have which is high quality room service maintenance
offered to the guest . The rooms are well cleaned with AC rooms , spacious bathroom
with all the amenities which are the needs to the guest during their stay . The hotel
provide Wi-Fi as a complementary so that the guest would not find any disturbance
when the need. The rooms have phones that the guest free to call help desk for their
own needs and pleasure .
Another strength is that the hotel provide care with everything and health care facilities
which are important in case the guest face problem but as of now does not provide any
medicine as the rising cases of covid for safety but the hotel do all the help the need
and for the safety precautions and never say no and help in many ways. The hotel
maintain high quality cleanliness and pest controls done at least 3times a day in all the
hotel surroundings. Public area are maintained with all the proper thorough cleaning so
that the guest won’t feel any improper feeling. All the hygiene and precautions are
maintained accepting all the rules to be followed. Basic understanding and guidelines
are made and each team would follow . Another Strength is that the hotel maintain a
good engineering team to tackle any problem the hotel may face. They provide a great
helping solving the problems . Examples like if the AC is not working or fan is not
working or any other broken equipments they immediately show up and solve the
problem in one call . Any big to small problems occurred in all the hotel the engineer do
all their duty which needs to be done. Each department focus on improving and
maintaining all the cares and rules the hotel provides under proper guidance and
assurance of safety precautions .
One of the major strength is that the trainee of the hotel as in each department there
many trainee and all the trainee would do all their work what needs to be done under
proper instructions of staff and supervisors . All the works is done with the help of
trainee managing and handling where the trainee is allocated .
Athering the most significant improvemen and importance to everything the staff work
indigently with the trainee . These are the some strength which have been important
and re important and a great help to hotel
About the weakness , The Fairmont hotels and resorts is that the number of reservation
that is made at once at the hotel . Number of weddings that are reserved like 2 to 3
weddings in one day and also creates some disturbance while check-in . Some guest
may be rude and some are understanding when check-in they would create issue if they
doesn’t get the room key and they would shout sometimes because they are the “guest”
upon not getting the room immediately and there would be problem at the bell desk with
the guest questioning about their belongings or stuff when they don’t see their luggage
in room. And FIT arrivals would face problem and lead to some dissatisfaction as the
FIT guest would come for a pleasant stay and they would meet some occasion or
wedding going on at the hotel which would lead into miscommunication or miss contact
with the services . Disadvantage to the hotel may arises such as the guest may not
know or the proper service would not reached to the guest during their stay as the hotel
may be so busy and would deny upon not getting assurance and pleasure during their
at the hotel . The hotel may face poor online reviews and sometimes in room technology
may face problem . A lot of big or small incidents may occur miscommunication and
misconnection among the department which would lead the guest creating issues.
In terms of the management sometimes weekends may occur because of the
misinformation among the staff and trainee or while getting information about the certain
act or work from the manager. At the point of working together sometimes the things
would not work out as planned as we may be busy surrounded with many guests during
the wedding along with the services need to be catered there may occur
misunderstanding as a weakness .
Another weakness may be that sometimes the guest may be asking something which
the hotel doesn’t allow as of now because of covid some hotel amenities are closed and
the guest may be dissatisfied and create great issue even if it was unnecessary but we
have to understand and make them understand In a proper way and make them
satisfied in any way. Sometimes there would be misinformation about the needs of the
guest so we have to communicate well
Other then these weakness which may occur the hotel make sure the abilities and key
properties of the hotel are well organized making it more valuable and effective creating
opportunities to the staff and trainee who give proper service to the guest and giving
excellent treatment to the guest even in so-busy days and there the event or weddings
and for the FIT guest all the service successfully and the day would go with a proper
thankyou from the guest or the staff with a smile.
Experience/Issues
In Fairmont there are so many trainee and are well managed as a team . Including the
staff are friendly and some are strict or rude we find In all department we can’t deny
because everyone’s perspective are different in everything . In every department they
are helpful and they are ready to help and guide in what the trainee asked. In Fairmont
only the work needs to be done successfully with the proper service and one can have a
great experience in Fairmont as we got . As the training period goes the days would go
so slow continuing our way of getting to know each other better and that you have a
great experience for yourself at the hotel and the other knowledge of the hotel and
gaining some ideas important things to know . All the days spend during the training
period of one time you will be able to make it to the great use later . Properly knowing
everything keeping eye upon the small details of the department we were allocated.
Definitely the day would not be the best facing problems with having many questions
and scared of making mistakes and scared of facing guest all of things as a trainee face
during the training period would turn into great experience and we get a great other
knowledge of what we want to do later.
Every department are same and everyday it’s busy because of weddings and everyone
staff or trainee works with well communication and gives great team work. Training is
crucial period for every trainee includes strong will physically and mentally. It cause a
great problem too . Training may affect one’s mentally or may be sick physically but still
we have to work well. Listening and communicating with the staff and guest we gain a
lot of the true insights inside the hotel, we get to know the actual working scenarios of a
five star hotel property. We have to deal many typical situations we have a good
relationship with the guest and we need to do every works given to us in which
department we are. We learn develop a sense of responsibility. We also learn to be
confident enough to speak up if we face any problem and also to have a good
conversation with the guest , handling the guest , reaching out the request of the guest
and giving the guest a good smile
Indeed it’s tough but we have to do it anyway, there’s no no . All trainee works 18 to 20
hours sometimes more than that if the hotel have busy schedule. We learn the basics
about every department and gain knowledge . We have the opportunity to develop our
own skills in various areas of hotel business , always giving the best . Also continuous
work long shifts often create troubles to us physically and mentally . And sometimes it
happens that we work really hard but it’s still not enough because it’s not seen by the
third person and often leads the body grow weak. But as a trainee we gain something
that it helps us to grow in this flied as a confident person and in many ways.
We face various issues with handling situation as for ourselves getting used to the work
, lots of exhausting days , long shifts , break shifts lots of things a trainee face.
Spending whole day in a hotel or week , indeed it was tiring and lots of hardworking .
Knowing and learning about the department and getting used once we get to know how
work is done we can do it .
During the training one struggles a lots with continues working days and thinking lot of
things sometimes a time comes we want to leave or quit but the day goes on and it pass
away. We must see what interest us , one can have a tough day but spending time with
friends having lunch together make it easy and being busy through the day we can go
through the day. Many things happens inside the hotel and many pressure trainee can
face , no time limit , no timing , scoldings , and sometimes one may really quit but this is
what all go through during training period and we can’t deny that we can’t escaped as
we are in this field. But all this build a person how to deal with this industry.
Conclusion
At the end of day we get to know better about the hotel and about the industry how it is
and how the work is done . The reality comes during the phase of it there 4-6 months . It
check us and we can also progress further about ourselves and also it’s a eye opener
for us in deciding what we want to do . The training period it’s a whole roller coaster ups
and downs in may ways to get a hold of ourselves . The days goes so slow but when it
comes to end we all know that we got many great memories. Coming to whole new
place without knowing anything and meeting new people and being great friends hoping
may be we will get to meet again someday it’s really like the way for ourselves getting
into next step .
