Time Allocation : 2 x 35 minutes

A. Standard Competency :
1. - Identifying spoken numbers.
-Responding to questions.

B. Basic competency :
1. Identify spoken numbers correctly.
2. Identify the meaning of some questions and respond to them.
3. Respond to teacher’s instructions.

C. Indicator :
1. Understand writing numbers correctly.
2. Understand written questions about numbers.

D. Learning objectives :
1. Students understand and respond to numbers appropriately.
2. Students can understand and respond to interrogative sentences correctly.
3. Students can understand and carry out simple instructions

E. Learning methods :
1. Students hear the dialogue and vocabulary from the audio cassette / CD / from the
teacher.
2. Students repeat the vocabulary they listen to.
3. Sing the song “Ten little Indian”

G. Learning Activity Steps:
1. Preliminary Activities
 The teacher greets students and prepares students' conditions for learning
 The teacher asks students to count as many as the number of students
 The teacher explains the aims and objectives of learning
2. Core Activities

Exploration:

• Students are asked to hear the pronunciation spoken by the teacher or heard from
cassette / CD and repeat what they hear as a group and individual.

Elaboration:

• Students repeat what the teacher said or heard from a cassette / CD regularly groups
and individuals.

Confirmation:

• The teacher pays attention to students' English pronunciation and corrects if there is a
wrong pronunciation.
• The teacher shows the objects in the class and the students state the numbers groups
and individuals
3. Closing activities
• The teacher appoints each student to name the numbers aloud.
• Together, sing the song "Ten Little Indians".
• The teacher asks students to repeat at home the lessons that have been given in class.
