Note: In the event of any steaming opening valves, breaking pipe lines, shifting ballast or
other activity altering conditions within the space, this certificate becomes void Nothing in
the wording of this certificate shall be interpreted as approval of hot work on the
boundaries of any enclosed space not certified “safe for hot work”. All lines, vents, heating
coils, valves and similarly enclosed appurtenance shall be considered “Not safe” unless
otherwise specifically designated. This certificate is not permit.
Remarks :
Conditions for Men entry & hot work : e Effective ventilation is to be provided whenever
men are in tanks/spaces. e Forced ventilation is to be continuous whilst hot work is in
progress. e Areas at and around hot work must be maintained free from oily & combustible
materials. e Adequate fire extinguishing equipment must be laid out ready for immediate
use during hot work.
