1. PURPOSE
This is to ensure that within the period of Advance Research Project Commissioning and
Energization activities until the Building Management System is operational; any potential
fire hazards from running equipments and power sources will be eliminated proactively to
avoid any loss and damages.

2. SCOPE
The fire watch plan covers the whole area of MDC.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following is the duties and responsibilities of the fire watcher:

 The fire watcher must be trained and certified by Aramco Approved Vendor.
 The fire watcher shall be familiar with MDC facilities, equipments and the on-going
activities.
 He should patrol the areas particularly inside the MDC Modules. The firewatcher
shall do the rounds inside MDC Modules every 30 mins.
 His Job focuses only for inspecting the entire work area and equipments to look for
potential situation that may lead to fire.
 He must ensure that all fire extinguishers are readily available and sufficient in the
areas.
 He must know the Aramco emergency procedure and reporting protocol for any
incidents.
 A fire watcher must memorize the emergency contact numbers including such as:
911 unified number, Dhahran Area Emergency Center:
(013) 876-3333, 013-8720911,013-876-0911, 013-880-0911

Nesma Fire watcher means of communication: Mobile Phones

The Fire watchers will be divided into two shifts and will report to their post from 6am to 6pm shifting.
This timing will apply to ensure the opening and closing of the Gates monitored by Industrial Security.
The fire watchers will deploy to their post until the full energization started.
