1 Introduction

1.1 Project Description

This Compliance report for Fire protection, Fire Alarm, Smoke management & Life safety is
prepared for LULU Central Logistic Hub - Dry Storage Warehouse located at Plot No. 531-0956
Dubai Industrial Park.

The storage have ground level storage. The storage type will be Racking system.

M/s. KOFFEL International Fire Safety Consultancy has been appointed to prepare Compliance
report for Fire protection, Fire Alarm, Smoke management & Life safety to assess the proposed
Fire protection/sprinkler/Fire alarm/Smoke management/Life safety design is adequate/
suitable for the proposed storage.

1.2 Purpose of the Report

The purpose of this compliance report represents implementation of recommendations

stipulated in NFPA 10,13,14,20,24,72,101,5000, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice -2018
and comments made by Client.

1.3 Authority Having Jurisdiction

The Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for Fire & Life safety of this development will be Dubai
Civil Defence Authority (DCD).
