Ceremony of the Philippine Identification System or PhilSys of the Philippine Statistics

Authority. Earlier, we just had the ribbon-cutting ceremony and now we will proceed with
the program proper. Before we officially start our program for this afternoon, allow me to
acknowledge the key persons and guests who are present today.

We would like to acknowledge the presence of our energetic and dynamic Municipal
Mayor of Pastrana, Leyte, Hon. __________________. Around of applause, please.

Also, we would like to acknowledge the presence of our representative from the
Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA, Ma’am or Sir _________________. Good
morning Ma’am or Sir.

With that, ladies and gentlemen, may I request everybody to please stand for the
Opening Prayer and please do remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National
Anthem.

You may now take your seats. Again, good afternoon everyone and welcome to the
Pastrana Registration Center Opening Ceremony of the Philippine Identification System
or PhilSys of the Philippine Statistics Authority. I am Cristina Sevilla from PSA and I will
be your host for today’s affair.

And to formally welcome us for this afternoon’s affair, we have here are our energetic,
dynamic and beautiful Municipal Mayor of Pastrana, Leyte, a round of applause to Hon.
Maritess Cayaco - Marcos.

Thank you so much Mayor for the warmest welcome from the Local Government of
Pastrana. And now, let us also lend our ears as she also gives her message, from the
Philippine Statistics Authority, Registration Officer II, Ma’am Edna D. Felicita. A round of
applause, please.

Thank you so much Ma’am for that message. At this juncture, the Philippine Statistics
Authority has provided an audiovisual presentation, some recorded messages of our
key officials in PSA. To begin our AVP’s, we have here the message of the Regional
Director, Ma’am Wilma A. Perante, PSA RSSO VIII and this will be followed by the
message of our Chief Statistical Specialist, Ma’am Sheryl Ann A. Jamisola. A round of
