Head of Department: Good morning everyone. First of all, I would like to extend a warm welcome
to Abdel the responsible of the class who is doing a good job and that’s help us a lot.
Head of Department: Let’s talk about today’s agenda. Abdel, can you please start the discussion
Abdel: Sure, I’d love. There is a lot to talk about first thing, in some places in our country the
connection is not good enough so the students in this situation start focusing on the WIFI
problems not the courses, secondly, we would like some teachers to explain carefully and slowly
the courses because we are not in a normal situation. finally, we have to think in a solution to not
Head of Department: Thank you very much Abdel. Now I’d like to get some ideas from everybody.
What do you think about those problems? Is there anything we can all do to help our students?
Teacher 1: I feel that we have been focusing too much on courses and we forgot that it’s a special
period that we need to take care a lot of students. In my opinion it’s time to let them rest a week
Teacher 2: I'm sorry Sir to disagree with you, I think we can’t let them rest for a week because
there is exams and some dates to respect, I really want to rest too a little bit but there is no
time to do that.
Teacher 1: yes, you are right but we need to do something because if we keep the same method,
we will respect dates but in de same time we will force students a lot.

Teacher 3: I see things differently. I think students feel bored at home, they pass all the time
above their computers so in this situation we need studies in presence, because it will help them
Teacher 3: you are right but we need to adapt, that’s why we should respect precautions to reduce
the danger and separating students on three groups, every group of them will study one week in
Abdel: That’s a great point. However, I think maybe there is some students who can’t come to
Mohammedia because of money, we all know the negative impression of corona on countries
economics so I need first to tell students about this solution then I will tell you who say YES or
NO.
Head of Department: that’s great. Is there anything else anyone would like to add?
Head of Department: Great. Well I’m afraid we have run out of time for today. Before we go,
Abdel would you mind taking care of asking students and create a table to register names I really
like to receive the answer next Monday. Thank you all for coming.

Henrick Ehrenblad was talking in this video about how emotions can drive a meeting using an
energy which has an impact on people. Henrick tried to explain the concept of the meeting by his
experience with his brother’s birth as twins, he said that the energy is represented by the screams
when they were born. Meetings had helped him and Patrick his co-founder to obtain a venture
capital argument for their start-up in times of financial crisis (Lehman Brother crash). The
investors rejection in meetings, was representing for them a power and energy to prove to the
investors that they were wrong when they didn’t accept working with them. He gave us this
example to convince us that inside every one in this world there is a ghost that we can be awake
anytime and that’s what we call self-esteem. In the end we can say that meetings are so important
for us and they are opportunities to use our emotions to make progress in our lives.
