I. INTRODUCYION
I.1 Service learning model
Service Learning is teaching and learning, which will connect a meaningful
community program, with guidance and the recognition of experiences to make
the rich learning experience. It will teach for you about sense of civic
responsibility of and make strengthen communities.
Service Learning is also exposed these lesson necessarily and it doesn’t press
children. Children will own their recognizable lesson. They own giving what need
to do and discussing it. In addition, their facilitator is the co-ordinator and giving
many methods. That is an interesting of project. This project has any requests,
expect a lot much from children. Only giving them the knowledge that they
learned in class and they can apply things in their life. That is the benefit of
students and therefore they can incorporate into lessons humanities. Therefore, it
makes rich the learning experience and helps to build civic of responsibility and
strengthen of communities. Through the learning community of method, this will
have a chance to use what they have learned to solve some real problems in their
life. All the youth is participating in Service Learning, they will find themselves
more mature in their thinking and it actually succeeds in your work in future,
whether you work at anywhere. In participation time at learning service project,
many young people must always challenge them and they must raise the sense of
initiative in their work, their education.
I.2 Discription of the internship place
Asian East Language Center was established about two years at 33A / 1 Thanh Binh Street,
An Thanh Ward, Thuan An Town, Binh Duong. With a team of teachers passionate about
educational career, high professional qualifications and experience. Along with diverse
training programs of international standard English, advanced English training for
specialized students, intensive English communication training for businesses. Modern and
diverse facilities to meet the needs of everyone.

Entering a new school with many new challenges the biggest obstacle I had to overcome
was the need to be confident in front of the crowd, to practice good communication skills.
What I am most looking forward to in this project is learning a lot, a lot of experience in the
leadership and teaching of her. Besides, I was also worried that I had to go through the days
facing challenges that I had never tried before. Learn a lot of experience, meet many friends
of the same age. Instead of putting the same level of importance on side projects and your
daily work, focus on getting something done. Achieving results early will help you learn
and grow more.
II. REFLECTIVE WRITING
II.1 Job discription
My internship takes place from May 4th, 2020 to July 1st, 2020. Before starting my
internship, I have been involved in the training course under the guidance of my instructor.
And therefore, I have provided many knowledge of teaching, practicing in class. My work
in the middle saw how the teachers there did and imitated. As a teacher, she guided my
group very enthusiastically and carefully. Therefore, I think that teachers are a very
interesting and engaging job. During the internship, the students of the center learn the
books that the center gives, depending on the level of those children. I spent nine weeks
from five and a half to seven and a half every Monday and Wednesday evening to come to
the center to help the girls pick them up for class.
In the beginning, May 4th, 2020 it was also the first time the group entered the internship
center and studied there. Having just stepped in, my heart felt anxious and scared, afraid of
working and studying in a new environment. But when interacting with siblings and
teachers in the center it's not as scary as I thought, they are very sociable and fun. It was
also the first day that the instructor at the center showed my group how to do their daily
work like: pick up the children to class, until the end of the day, they have to take them out
for their parents to transport, ... Until six o'clock in my group, we were divided into small
groups, a group of 3 friends went to the kids' class, and 2 of them were in the speaking class.
I choose the little class. When I entered the classroom, I found the room quite small. It was
just the first day so I realized that I had to confidently communicate in front of the crowd
and had to deal with anxiety and fear in order to overcome it.
Today is the second day of the week May 6 th, my group practice. My group had been
given a task by the teacher, though simple, but it helped the society. Shield a table and
put it on a corner of the center to welcome the children to the class group, I have 5
people, at that time there was a friend who didn't come in so there were 4 girls, me and
the other girl waiting for them to come in. measure body temperature and wash hands
with antiseptic solution and then put children in class. It was not until 6 o'clock, my
group of 3 people had to go to class again, almost we went back to class to observe the
students The second class ended, we left with a tired mood, but we also had to try to
smile to welcome the children to leave and after the children returned, it was the 3 of us
to leave. Today, I learned the lesson that you need to be active, not timid, always smile.
One week my practice group had passed, and it wasn't as difficult as I thought. May 11 st,
as usual for the center, my team had to wait for children to come and go because of body
temperature and wash their hands. Today, my group entered the classroom late, when I
entered the class, they started playing a small game related to today's lesson. The teacher
wrote a keyword and circled all of them and then divided the whole class into 2 teams,
on the ground there were 2 examples to win the right to answer. The atmosphere
suddenly seemed to make my group feel tired and sleepy because every time they talked,
my group was very happy. After coloring, they turn to the next page to hear about a new
topic. I then asked and they had to answer it. When it was time to leave, the teacher gave
the homework to the children to do later to fix. When the girls said they were about to
leave, they were very excited and so was my group. Arriving at the center door, my
group took the babies out for their parents to pick them up, and then we could go home.
May 13th, like every time we finished we had to drive to the center. Arriving very early
but not before going to work, I went to a central snack bar to eat and drink before going
to school. Then my team waited for the children to wash their hands and measure the
heat for them. When it was six o'clock in the group of three of us we had to go ahead
only one student in the class said we had to wait until half past six to get to class. At the
beginning of the lesson you can play a small game A game like the domino game in
Japan helps you remember more words I feel that this game is very effective for children
of this age. The teacher then asks them to open the workbook and do it. Every Monday
and Wednesday even though I studied all day I am happy to come to the center all my
fatigue is gone.
May 18th, It was raining today, so our group came to the center late so we did not sit
outside to pick them up but had to stand inside when they came to us to take umbrellas
to take turns to pick them up. Going to the center they are measured by body members
and washing their hands. Then it was time for the three of us to enter the classroom and
when I entered the classroom I saw the kids playing a small game. The whole class was
divided into four teams, each giving out a piece of paper with the theme of "What are
these people", a very simple way to play and quickly work. When they finished the
paper I gave each team that she turned on the computer and had from 31 to 100 of which
had 4 100, -100, x2, and tow bombs and symbols to get all the points from the other
team to the team Their I found this game very interesting fun. I feel that I have not
improved myself today but I am not confident enough to say what I want to say. I
promise myself that I will try every day. Bottom line today is a great day.
May 20th, like every day when we go to the center we have to pick the kids up to 6
o'clock when we go to class. When we entered the classroom we saw foreign teachers
walk into the classroom to let the children play a small game. The game takes place as
the class is divided into two teams of teachers who will write a word on the board
corresponding to today's lesson about traffic. Each team sends a member of the team to
guess the word given by the teacher while guessing the team below describing you who
guesses the fastest will win. I sat and watched the students changing more every day
happier and more united. They ended up taking 5 minutes off ... then went to class to
settle and take the test. The test was divided into two parts where she read the
vocabulary and the teacher read a sentence for them to fill. Next the teacher gives each
person a piece of paper and then shows how to do homework. While waiting for the
students to finish their work here she marked the writing section and she asked them to
submit the contact book so she could score her points in the notebook. When it was time
to go to my group, I would take my children outside so my parents could take them
home before my group could leave.

May 25th, haizz! It was a rainy day, but lucky I went to the rain center. Starting with familiar
tasks like keeping and feeding. Just five and a half minutes when our team picked up the
kids and then we went to class and found a little empty. Before we go to school, let teachers
see old lessons by playing a small game and we can join them. The class is divided into four
teams, teachers for each three life team, the next person who writes topics: family, work,
fruits. The first team chose a subject and others gave it. A word related to that topic is
continuous. Until the team doesn' t answer, it' s going to take a continuous network to lose
their lives. With this game helps children remember vocabulary, dynamism, and confidence.
Finally, it' s time to leave and the old job is to get the kids out and we can go home. In
general, though it' s tired today, it' s very interesting.
May 27th, It was raining heavily on the day so things were difficult to travel, but the students
were still on time, they had to use umbrellas to get them into the classroom, after going to
class, the teacher talked to the students and the teacher. The new lesson she taught the
students was very lively, they took it very seriously and very consciously in class, then she
handed over the exercises in the book to review the knowledge and let them do it. She
makes a mini game for the children to be entertained after the stressful lessons and to
supplement. and regained the spirit of learning for the children to be more excited and
interested in learning, and after the game, she started to stabilize the class again and let the
children continue studying and she taught the children to study lessons so that they could
easily enter. And they are very is exciting during the school day and when the class is over,
students are taken out to class for their parents to come home and an internship day ends in
fun.
June 1st, today was a very beautiful day, the sky was cool so my group entered the center
early. With the same tasks as every day to go to the center to welcome the children in.
Before I went to class, I talked to them happily. At six o'clock we go back to class, the
children are in school on time and full. Just like the previous session, the teacher asked the
children to tell words from the career to review the old lesson, everyone raised their hands
enthusiastically. Then the teacher divides the class into five teams to play a small game of
incense which leads them to list all the jobs they know. fter a while, Mrs.T the manager
came up with cookies and candy in her hand and I did not know what day it was, I turned to
ask my stepsister to know that was Children's Day and Mrs.M giving them time to eat and
then start studying. the teacher gave children a sentence so that every time I guessed a word,
someone who correctly guessed a lot of words would win, I sat and watched how their
students worked in any game they were active in, perfect and solidarity together I feel very
admired.,
June 3rd, start a new day with old tasks like going to the center early to let the children eat
and half past five pick them up to the center. I kept going like that until 6 am when I went to
Ms. Minh's class and came in to see her taking attendance. fterward, before starting the
lesson, the teacher let them play a small game by dividing the whole class into two teams,
each taking turns sitting in a chair facing the teammate and the teacher writing a word or
sentence to go along. If each team on the team describes the person sitting on the seat if they
guess correctly and quickly, then the team will win. I observed Ms. Minh's instruction very
enthusiastically and clearly. For this game, help them learn vocabulary and solidarity,
helping each other in group work. Seeing that the children were so happy and excited, I also
joined them in the fun, but she only allowed us to sit and watch them. While they were in
the group, I asked Ms. Minh to take some pictures to make a video and she also agreed that
she was quite cute so my group loved her very much. fter finishing the game, the teacher
asked to turn over the workbooks and. After doing this, I can play. After I finished playing,
the girls started playing songs from the books that I corrected, I found that even though they
were small, their listening skills were very good and could be better than me. Also, when it
was time to leave, my group went downstairs to take the children out to bring home and
bring them home.(June 3rd,
June 8th, haizz!!! Every day is the same, struggling one day also comes the day we practice.
When I came to the center with the same jobs as the children, my group took turns to pick
them up at the center, so they kept going until six o'clock. My group popularized the game,
after dividing the class into two teams, my group gave a keyword about the animals, fruits ...
told you first and finished, the leader explained it to you next and so on. Until you finally
write the word on the board, the one who writes the correct answer and wins the fastest. In
the fifth round, there was a team who could not write so my team member said that my
teammates could write for me but my team didn't hear it, so one of my kids cried because I
lost. After finishing the game, the students were given a paper to take the test by the teacher,
so my group sat and watched and talked to each other. I thought today was a really
meaningful day and brought back memories but I don't think it led to the incident like today.
I learned the lesson needs to be calm, clear the game, keep tighter order.

June 10th, today my group has to come to the center with familiar tasks but everyday we do
it as it is time to welcome the children to the center. When it was time to go to class, the
center manager said that the children would check, so all she needed to do was attend
Minh's class. As for me and the other student, she was in Ms. Suong's class because she was
busy so she could not come to teach so we took over the manager and gave them to the
students to check. At six o'clock I took attendance and gave me the responsibility for the
second grade subject, the other one in charge of the third grade. Waiting for the students to
finish their work, I collect graded papers and correct the problems for them to correct. In the
topic that I was in charge of, the students scored very low, with only one child making the
eight highest score. The e finished editing and editing out. Today we were home early,
bringing the children out to pick up and then we could go home. Although my throat is dry,
I feel very happy to talk with them more.
June 15th, just like every day my group went to the center to feed the children early. Then
take turns taking the babies to the center. After a while, the manager called two of Ms
Suong's classmates to come in and keep the classes up to six o'clock to take attendance.
After finishing, the manager instructed us to disseminate and check how the children could
avoid making noise and asking many times. The previous day we didn't have experience so
the new class was so noisy but now we have experience for this session. This time the
students did their homework very quietly and quickly. We recorded the marks and handed
them out to see the scores. This time they made a lot better. While we scored, let the
students take a break. There was still time left for the two of us to let them play a game. The
whole class is divided into three teams of 3 to 4 friends each. How to play is that after each
team has three lives and we offer many topics for you to choose, each team selects a topic
and another team related to it as if to any team can not guess anymore will lose. They seem
to like this game a lot, helping them learn more vocabulary. It was time to leave, we took
the babies and we were allowed to go home. Ending a tiring but meaningful day to me.

June 17th, today as usual, my group comes to the center with familiar tasks. Let the children
have dinner and talk with them for a bit, after that T, the manager of the center called me
and a friend in the group held two test questions of classes 2 and 3 asking us to correct them
before class. Until six o'clock, the two of us went to the next roll of class to spread the word
for the students to do before they started. This time to test a lot, maybe the students will take
a long time because of the exam so they try hard. The two of us finished marking out the
lesson to the students, and I found that the score was okay even though it was not higher
than the last time but they really tried hard. A little later, a teacher from the Philippines
came in to teach the students, so they seemed to enjoy it. After finishing the two studies, we
distributed candy to the children before leaving. My group had to take the children out to
bring their parents back. Although tired but also very happy, every day to see the children
laugh, I am also happy.

June 22nd , another day passed and my group had to go to the center. Seeing whoever came
into the mhosm, I took turns to pick them up and took them to the classroom just like that
when Sister T came out and asked the two friends to come in and keep Ms. S's class and
Miss L's me and my friend's name. It was great to meet them again, but when I heard the
news that Miss S was teaching again and I feel unhappy. At six o'clock I had to go to the old
class which was Miss M class. Before going to class, she let the whole class play a game,
the whole class was divided into four teams. The teacher gives each team a piece of paper
on which there are several pictures of the activities then each team sends a friend on the
board to remove any sentences so that their team numbers in the picture corresponding to
the sentence I brought back. Then the teacher corrected for each team, and then she gave the
class to play another new mistake for them to remember the vocabulary that divided the
class into three teams of the team members who competed to write but nothing related to the
beach like umbrella , sand, islands, ... the children they work with are really united, helping
them to stick together. I see the children have very good memory and quick wits. Finally it
was time to leave, my group had to take them out. Nothing special today is just watching the
children play.
June 24th , just like every day after school, I hurried to the center to pick up the kids, after
the time I picked them up, it was time to go to school, this time a foreign girl came and
taught them after After she finished teaching, she gave each child a piece of paper to do a
little listening exercise, after listening to it, she divided into 3 teams and she read a sentence
for any of the children. the students and show them how to remember for them to take a
break in the middle of the lesson when they come back in due to the machine's problem, so
they could not play anymore, then she divided each team up to answer 3 questions. At the
end of the period, I took the babies back and picked them up.
The day near the end June 29th, like every day after school, I rushed to the center to pick up
the kids to go to school, after I finished picking them up, the time to go to school, this time I
gave each one a pair of paper and a piece of paper. printed 17 pieces of paper printed on
different content, then she showed a child the picture she stuck on the board and wrote the
number corresponding to the picture and name, then she corrected the lesson and call each
one up. After reading the correct answer, she said "open the book" and she divided it into
three teams to write down beach vocabulary, then she handed out the paper to each child
who wrote the homework after she finish. From reading the paragraph and correcting the
wrong exercise until the end of the lesson, he took his son home and his parents took him
home. Today, there is nothing special but watching the children learn and play.

July 1st, is the last time our group has come to the center with the familiar task of welcoming
the children to the center. To thank the center for letting us into the practice group, I had a
table to buy gifts for the center. After we arrived at Miss M's class, we went into the
classroom to see the students taking the tests. A few minutes later, after finishing grades 5
and 6, I corrected my lesson and then the children played the game themselves. The
remaining students still have lessons because they have not taken the test. After Ms. M
finished fixing, they rested for 5 minutes. After that, Ms. M let the children play a game to
help memorize words. The entire student sits down when she says a word or sentence and
then the second person repeats her sentence, then says her sentence as if to someone who
can't speak, will step back and the last one will say everything from the beginning till now. I
sat and watched them play and I wanted to play but I didn't dare say what I thought. At the
end of the game, the children left and my group took them home. Having been with them for
more than two months, when I no longer see them, no longer talking, I remember that if I
had the opportunity to take this subject next year, I would definitely come here to practice.
Through this internship, I learned a lot of experience from the teachers, became more
confident in communicating, how to guide games and manage them in the most reasonable
way.
II.2 Personal development
Over the past 2 months at the Asian language center, I have learned a lot of valuable
working experience and teaching skills from teachers. In my opinion, these valuable
experiences will help me a lot for my work in the future. I feel that this project is really
meaningful and helpful.
The best part of the project is practical activities, intimacy and social needs, high academic
spirit. Because, everyone involved in this project with heart, love and desire to contribute in
the community. The most difficult part of the project is that the children are young, too
stubborn, and difficult to teach so teachers need to be patient.
Through this project it helps me learn a lot of experience, helps you identify the skills I need
to set a life goal that can improve my job prospects, improve my confidence and leading to a
more perfect, higher quality life. Planning to make choices, decisions and life decisions that
are relevant, positive and effective for my personal future.
III. Conclusion
III.1 Strengths
I was very fortunate to be able to participate in a new environment at a foreign language
center, where the teachers helped me to facilitate my internship. From there, learn can assess
my ability during internship here.
I have received the enthusiastic support of my teachers through their guidance, she gave me
useful knowledge through games organized in lessons, methods of a teachers and pedagogy.
My instructor was very enthusiastic and she always shared my difficulties during the
internship. That helps motivate me to teach. Thanks to the teachers' help, my work was very
smooth and convenient.
Participating in learning services, I find myself much better. And I have changed myself
more, that motivates me to do better things for community society. I have worked with my
team, we share these teaching styles, our organizational games and exchange ideas, discuss
together to fulfill this new role. The center always brings a warm atmosphere and there are
always laughter of children, joyful so I also feel extremely comfortable without much
pressure. Service learning is a new environment where I can identify my abilities. Through
the internship days, I applied the knowledge I learned from the brothers and sisters in the
center to my next path. And I have a lot of useful experiences for myself after I graduate.
III.2 Weaknesses
The first time I participated in these projects, I always felt very worried about my internship
in the future. At first, I didn't know anything about the personality of each child in the
center, so my mentality was uncomfortable and unnatural.
When I got to the center, the instructor arranged for me to enter a small class between the
second and sixth grade. Everything became strange to me, and it was time to step into the
classroom with their eyes looking at us like aliens entering the classroom. That made me
very worried about what to do in the long term ahead. The more I interact with and talk to
them, the more I find them not too unapproachable just because I think too much. In
particular, children are very active and sociable often make noise in the classroom. I see
some stubborn children who do not listen to teachers or object to them. I was extremely
worried about my role in the future, because I didn't have much experience in teaching and I
always had a lot of difficulties in handling situations in class. I also have many times with
my team to organize games suitable for children and also help them remember words
longer. With such a short time, I did not know the characteristics of each of them.
IV. RECOMMENDATIONS
I think this project needs to be disseminated across all universities, on media, television so
that everyone can know it.
Community service needs to organize more to exchange experiences from people who can
understand the importance of this project. All universities should promote the introduction
of teaching students at thương love centres, which must increase the motivation for self -
awareness. This program should be considered special for both basic and psychological
knowledge. Besides, the learning services should organize many training courses to ensure
effective teaching methods.
