V. LENGHTH OF IMPLEMENTATION
The OPLAN: Happy meal for happy family is to be implemented in less than

sixteen-days schedule with a ½ -3 hours of implementation. The said duration

included the time of preparation.

VI. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

The OPLAN: Happy meal for happy family aims to provide my family meals in

which they can get enough nutrients needed in every day that is based in the food

pyramid for a week. As the food pyramid be the basis of every meal, in which can

lead towards a healthy balanced diet and individuals will get the proper nutrients that

is needed to have in a day. In addition, this operation plan also has the purpose of

encouraging other people to have a healthy balanced diet.

VII. BACKGROUND

"We were thrilled to discover that almost 80% of people felt preparing a

meal for someone is a significant act of love!" says Andrea Miller, based on the

study that they have conducted in 2013. In perspective, as much as the taste of

the meal is important, the nutrients you get from what you eat matters to.

According to a recent study by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI),

the current chronic malnutrition rate among Filipino children aged 0 to 2 is at 26.2

percent and the other studies have shown that anywhere from 44 to 66% of

Filipino Americans are overweight or obese.

VIII. Justification of the Project

Way back, 2020. In the fist semester, our professor in PE1 tasked us to

weight ourselves and find our BMI. I was 41kg and my height is 5’1ft. So, there I

found out that I am malnourish, to be honest, We never lack of food in our home but

I have a very unhealthy way of eating, just like me not wanting to eat vegetable. Just

so I thought to make a project that will benefit my health and family. That is why I

came up with this type of immersion. Wherein we will be able to follow the food

pyramid to ensure the nutrients we get on our daily basis.

IX. Methodology

The method for this immersion was to just cook, but in my case, since I

am not really into cooking, I have to follow the instruction online and be

resourceful to what I can as ingredients of my meal in the kitchen. In addition,

make sure that I can manage to take note on how many hours I cook for

documentation purposes.

X. DETAILED BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT

Most of the ingredients I used to cook meals are from our kitchen already

but not all the things I need is in our home. I have to make up for the ingredients

that is unavailable to our house. The following is the list that I have bought:
