That is right! Are you now ready to listen?

Be quiet.
Listen attentively.
(teacher will start telling a story) Don’t talk to your seatmate.
A Walk on the Farm

Two little girls went to the farm. “Bring home some atis
and guavas,” said their mother. “If you see camote leaves, Yes Sir!
bring some too.” They walked around the farm but could not
find any fruit. There were no camote leaves.

Soon, they saw a small nipa hut. They went near it and
knocked at the door. “Come in,” said a sweet little voice. “I
have here some atis and guavas for you.”

“I have also some balloons and dolls for you.” They went
in and saw a table set with many kinds of food. There were
papayas, bananas and ice cream.
There were toys of all kinds. There were balls, cars and
drums.

The two little girls were very happy. But where was the
sweet voice? They did not see anybody in the house.
