    • This policy provides guidance in the conduct of basic education research to
    ensure its alignment with DepEd’s vision, mission, and goals, maximize existing
    resources, and set up platforms for the sharing and use of results.

    1. How do Basic/Academic Research different form Action Research?
    2. Which of the two kinds of research do you think is easier to conduct and why?
    3. Of the thrusts where you can get the theme of your action research, where do
    you think you are to focus on? Why?
    4. How will your proposed action research help the teachers and the learners in
    the field?

    EVALUATION:
    1. From the legal bases of conducting research, what thrust of research is your
    proposed AR will fall? Why do you think so?
    2. With your identified partner in Action research, formulate your Action research
    title and find a faculty member in LICOM who have conduction at least one action
    research in the field.
