Marketing

Food trucks have been prevalent in the food industry since the mid-1900s, with

increasing popularity as time goes on. There are currently thousands of food trucks operating

nationwide, and is expected to increase in number for the next 5 years.

Our market research has revealed to us that consumers in Limay, Bataan want more

affordable food options, larger portion sizes, and a wider variety of food offerings at a single

establishment. Being able to satisfy those factors, in conjunction with the flexibility of our

business hours, will help set us apart from the competition.

Target Market

DMZ’s target buyers are the middle-class millennials who reside, work and go to the

town and surrounding areas within a 10-mile radius. In a survey conducted and distributed to

local food vendors, we found that those who go out to eat spend roughly ₱5,000 a month. Of

that, approximately ₱2,800 each month is spent at food trucks. We anticipate that 19 - 35 year

old patrons will make up 85% of our revenue.

Marketing Strategy

DMZ Food Hub plans to reach new and existing customers through social media and

flyers. We will constantly post our products in our accounts (Facebook and Instagram) to attract

customers. Our prices will be lower compared to our direct competitors, and we will also provide

larger portions while maintaining profitability.
