(AC-S17) Week 17 - Final Assignment: My

best sport experience (Part 1)


Hello!
Now it's time for you to do the part 1 of the course Final Assignment (Written
Product).

I invite you to check the instructions below. Remember that if you need to review a
topic, you can always go back as many times as you need. Keep in mind that you
have to present this assignment on Tuesday of week 17.

1. Lesson Outcome:
Through this activity, students write a text (100-120 words) about the best sport
experience they had, by using present tense, past tense,
quantifiers and linking words as well as the vocabulary learned in the course.

2. Description:
 Step 1:
o Think about your best sport experience.
 You can choose one of these options:
 A sport event in which you participated.
 A sport event that you watched (TV, internet, stadium).
 A famous sportsperson that you met.

 Step 2:
o Work in pairs or groups of three.
o Share your experience to the group and explain why you think it was the
best sport experience.
o Together choose the most interesting experience or create your own one.

 Step 3:
o Write your text based on the following guidelines and questions:
 Mention the sport related to the story and describe it. (present simple)
 What happened?
 When did it happen?
 Where did it happen?
 How did it end?
 Why was it the best experience?
 How did you feel?
*These are guidelines questions. DO NOT answer them directly.

 Grammar: Present simple, past simple, past progressive, adjectives


(comparative and superlative), sequence linkers (while, when), quantifiers
(many, most, a lot of, not many, few).

Part 1
De acuerdo al artículo 46 del Reglamento de Disciplina, toda evidencia de plagio, durante o
posterior a la evaluación, anulará el resultado de la evaluación.

Se considera plagio a la copia de información parcial o total de fuentes de información o de


páginas de internet, así como a la copia del trabajo de otro grupo, estudiante, docente, o consulta a
persona externa a la universidad.

En los casos a que se refiere el párrafo anterior, si se comprueba la falta, el estudiante obtiene la
calificación de “cero anulado” (0A) como nota final del curso, sin perjuicio de recibir la sanción
disciplinaria correspondiente.
